Former national security adviser John Bolton thinks President Biden "overstated the gravity of the situation we're in right now" when he suggested that the "prospect of Armageddon" is the highest it's been since the Cuban Missile Crisis. Bolton offered his observation in an interview Friday with CBS News senior investigative correspondent Catherine Herridge.

Bolton said nuclear threats must be taken seriously, but he doesn't think the world is in quite the situation the president described. ....
"Well, you know, [Putin's the the center of command and control of the Russian military," Bolton said. "National Command authority is what we call it. He's a legitimate military target. And I think while [there are] plenty of other things we can do as well, that he needs to know that he's on our target list at that point."

Just in case anyone is unclear about Trump’s charge that Bolton was always trying to start WWIII.
Ask the American people if their homes and families should be sacrificed to nuclear fire simply because the Ukraine gets nuked by Russia.
You get close enough to a nuclear weapon and it is a painless death. You are vaporized before the neuron signals can reach your brain, although John’s has a few short circuits in there.
If you follow Johns' advice their sacrifice will be for a far greater cause - John's proposed attempt to take out Putin.
These people take the talk of nuclear War in stride like it’s nothing. Do you think they all believe they are indispensable and will be in the underground bunker when the war starts? They are all crazy and just don’t seem to care about any consequences of their actions.

In this are the great thinkers about nuclear deterrence and global stability were guys like Herman Kahn or Tom Schelling or Andy Marshall. They were genuine originals. When I heard what the turnip in the White House said I immediately thought he was trying to boost his impression like he always does. He probably looks at himself in the mirror and things he sees jfk. He is desperate to appear tough, I also think that is the greatest threat he presents.
