Tyson foods latest large business to flee Chicago, what sparked the exodus?

Tyson Foods Inc. became the latest large company to announce its departure from Chicago, continuing a trend in the city that many have argued is the result of the city's skyrocketing rates of crime and threatens to do harm to its most vulnerable populations.

"You're talking about a situation where you have a hollowed out economy, where you have businesses leaving, there are no jobs," Heritage Foundation senior research fellow in the Center for Health and Welfare Policy Robert Moffit told Fox News Digital last month. "And the people who are desperately hurt by this are mostly low income and black and minority residents who suffer the most from this high crime."

Moffit's comments came after McDonald's CEO Chris Kempczinski took aim at Chicago in a mid-September speech, arguing that the city's rising crime rates have made it increasingly difficult for companies to operate or find employees.

"We have violent crime that's happening in our restaurants ... we're seeing homelessness issues in our restaurants. We're having drug overdoses that are happening in our restaurants,"" Kempczinski said at the time. "So we see in our restaurants, every single day, what's happening in society at large."

...what many have argued is the result of the city's skyrocketing rates of crime

Too bad authors always have to stick in caveats such as "what many have argued." Quit equivocating and just call a spade a spade; tell it like it is: "Out of control violent crime is forcing companies to flee Chicongo."

What sparked the exodus?

It had to be either Climate Change or those wild MAGA maniacs roaming the streets at night.
Or maybe it was both.

It’s Ok... Chicago will be fine. They will just take more money from the rest of us taxpayers to cover their losses.

I don’t know, but Tyson’s was Bill Clinton’s racketeering buddies in the Arkansas Mafia and I am pretty certain, considering what a genuinely evil person the founder was, they were in some way tie in to the massive cocaine trafficking operation conducted from the Mena airport. So anything bad that happens to Tyson’s is good.

As these companies depart, jobs for the middle class go with them. So middle class workers also leave. The one class that might vote in a way that would reverse the trend. Thus. these cities become like the third world, a small, rich ruling class, and a large, hopeless lower class.

Now consider that the hopeless, uneducated urban lower class will always be led to vote for the blandishments of the rulers, being unequipped to think for themselves. And that the lower class numbers are being grown with the addition of millions of “migrants” from equally stratified third world regions.

Need I go on?

Info is Heritage opinion not sourced from Tyson. HQ moves are not made for the reasons cites, C- level employees are not concerned about crime.

It's also out of control property and business taxes: the only ones that stay are companies that "negotiate" big tax breaks, i.e. payoff Dem politicians.

Google just bought the Thompson Center from the state. I wonder what that purchase earned them in payback.
