It is believed that the word comes from the rural workers imported into the city by employers to replace workers who were on strike. These rural people may have worn wooden clogs rather than the leather shoes more commonly worn by city-dwellers, and “sabot” was a derogatory name for those workers.
How can there be so many unaware people in this country? Do they really believe families, single men/women are going to step out and buy EV’s? Who is going to buy these automobiles? NO ONE - that’s why people like Newsome will encourage/push laws to BAN gasoline engines!!
They’ll probably raise the average fleet sticker price of their ICE autos to dump endless cash into the EV money pit.
I wonder if they have eyes on being the military EV vehicle manufacturer?
Not too far into the future the cars on the streets in America will look like they are from Cuba. I refuse to spend a single dime on woke EV’s being sold using a big lie. I won’t be a part of that. I am not going to contribute to the downfall of America.

Imagine waking up at 3:30AM and discovering your house is on fire caused by your EV parked in your attached garage spontaneously combusting. Might cause some interesting challenges for the insurance company.
Well, our lords and masters have extended the subsidy until the 2030s and have increased the amount of money set aside for building charging stations, apparently.
And now GM is going to build a network of charging stations. Wonder who is paying for that.
When American carmakers started in with this EV crap I told the lovely Mrs. Maximus we should buy and store a couple of ICE vehicles, and adopt a Cuban mechanic. (I wish we had done so while interest rates were low....)
