I’ve repeatedly warned him—He will pay for it later. And, he often does. They want piggy-back rides through the house, they get it. Then, he can barely move for two days. They want to stay up late? He let’s them. Then they are cranky the next day. I have to be the mean grandma and eventually tell them “off to bed you go—it’s late enough”.

I might know something about that. We had our Boston Bronies Christmas party today at Dave and Busters in Braintree,Ma. I took a walk around the mall afterwards and there were a lot of places selling adult oriented toys.

My oldest enjoys Airsoft guns and also collects knives.
My younger son plays Minecraft when he’s not working.
My daughter doesn’t have a job yet, still on school, hasn’t found a hobby for herself...yet.

Thank you! He is a good grandpa. He will sit and watch Peter Rabbit cartoon episodes and discuss the morale issues with the girls when he had planned to watch something totally different. He will take them to look for eggs in the hen house and guide them to where he knows the eggs will be, and then let them carry the egg bucket into the house (yes, occasionally,a few do not make it to the kitchen). Next, he will help them break the eggs into a bowl so he can cook each of the girls a special “fresh” egg. They get so excited!
