Awarning issued by the late U.S. Senator John McCain—nearly a decade ago—about Vladimir Putin's intentions in Ukraine has gone viral. The clip shows the former GOP lawmaker for Arizona and one-time Republican presidential nominee taking a swipe at American reluctance to help Ukraine for fear of provoking the Russian leader.

This tw@t said this - 9 months after HE and Victoria Nuland appeared, on stage, during the Maidan protests in Kiev, encouraging the radical Azov factions to complete the coup and overthrow the duly-elected Ukraine President.
Imagine Xi Jinping appearing in Texas, encouraging La Raza to riot and break with the USA and go to war. That’s what McCain did
Putin would have been justified to drop a bomb on this tw@t right then and there.
who cares what that idiot said
Now I am sure it is wrong.
Whatever that RINO wanted to do, the opposite is right.
It's like Hogan asking Klink which wire to cut on a bomb.
Obama promised Putin he could invaded Ukraine in 2912.

Any doubt we’re on the wrong side there?
McCain is one of the most evil Republicans that has ever lived.
In 2014, Ukraine was not a part of Russia, so your analogy makes no sense.
Don't play stupid. Everyone knows the historical links between Ukraine and Russia for centuries. Everyone knows the security concerns an NATO-led Azov regime poses on Russia's border.
I am sure you ain’t wrong.
Just sayin
Sounds like a plan and hope by McCain...baited
He’s still dead.
F that traitor
How about YOU don’t play stupid.
Russia actually poisoned one pro western electoral rival years before the Maidan situation, at a time when pro Russian leaders were still electable and Azov was nonexistent.
In 2008, Poland warned Ukraine that Russia fully intended to invade it, after it had done the same in Georgia.
In 2013 Russia bought Yanukovych and Azarov and convinced (or coerced) both men into mothballing the European trade deal before Yanukovych took a massive bung to sell his country out. Again, that was before Azov was an issue.
Yanukovych wasn’t forced out. His government collapsed from resignations, he was constitutionally obliged to install an interim government, and realising his attempt to turn the second biggest Putin puppet regime after Belarus had failed he fled Ukraine into Russia... And had the audacity to order the Ukrainian forces to LET Russia take Crimea.
Ask yourself this - if Benedict Arnold had been President would you have supported him remaining in office after breaking the most fundamental oath of office by fleeing to England and ordering a surrender to the King without any debate at all?!
The mistake made was letting Yanukovych leave. He should’ve been flayed alive.
Azov became an issue entirely because of Russian interference, through Yanukovych, to break up Ukrainian sovereignty.
You know what is completely absent from all of that? America. Which had nothing to do with any of it.
bttt
If McCain is fer it then I’m agin it....
During the McCain campaign, Sarah Palin said - if Barack Obama is elected his appeasement will cause Russia to invade Ukraine next.
A lot of “great and good” called her stupid for that statement, but that’s exactly what happen.
Appeasement never brings peace! It only encourages the aggressor.
It wasn't "American reluctance" it was the Obama administration that refused to send any weapons to Ukraine for 2 years while they were at war with Russia starting in 2014, until the new Trump administration in 2017 for the first time sent weapons-javelins to Ukraine.
U.S. President Barack Obama wants peace negotiations with Russia to run their course before deciding to send “lethal defensive” arms to help Kyiv against the recent attacks by Russian-supplied separatists in eastern Ukraine. Feb 10, 2015
