China is unlikely to go to war against or over Taiwan. There’s just not enough upside for them. But they can try to coerce a peaceful surrender.
Or they can mobilize, let everyone think the target is Taiwan, and then pivot and roll into Siberia.

Nope - MAD applies for any shooting war with China. Would like to hear from others how the US would be able to defend Taiwan without risking nuclear war.
