The Ukrainian army is losing a three-digit number of soldiers every day, the BND intelligence service told a group of Bundestag lawmakers who focus on security at a secret meeting this week, Spiegel said, citing information it had received.

The BND warned that the capture of Bakhmut by Russian forces would have significant consequences, as it would allow Russia to make further advances.

Yeah, this is so troublesome. It’s a furnace where innocent conscripts are tossed into like so much chaff on both sides, and the Russians must be making quick work of it, as they’re not changing their strategy at all.

There will be no men to rebuild Ukraine with.

The Germans want to go back to making patty cakes with the Russians and all the cheap energy supply.

That said If Russia should prevail, it will build up and recover East Germany to the USSR v.II.

And so much more.

There are very few choke points in the wide open plains in this area. Rivers and cities are pretty much it.

The Germans don’t like Biden’s “Hold my breath until I turn blue” sanctions.

I don’t blame them. It is destroying their economy.

A refugee report I saw a while back estimated 7.9mm Ukrainians are now out of their country. I wonder what that estimate is now.

German Intelligence—which told German politicians that Ukraine would fall within a week, that none of the victories we’ve seen were even possible— routinely behaves as if it is under the control of the Russian FSB. A German double agent was even arrested recently:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11611391/British-intelligence-leaked-Russia-German-double-agent-expert-says.html

Multiple high level German politicians also have extremely close ties to Moscow.

Right now they’re in one of their weekly games where they refuse to send Ukraine weapons, then agree to send weapons, only to find out later that such weapons will not arrive for years.

Conveniently of course they start leaking of supposed massive defeats in Bakhmut, as if we don’t have constant video of the area to know otherwise. They should have said Soledar to be believable.

The Russians call it a boiler. They encircle the target and literally, and I mean that shell it to dust with constant barrages 24/7. You should see the devastation of some places that used to be cities. They send in the Wagner storm troopers to probe... find out if they have to do it... and if Wagner comes back an says, too well defended. Literal hell rains down on the place till it is dust. When I say dust... I mean dust.

Woodrow Wilson dragged the US into the horror of World War I to “make the world safe for democracy”.

Joe Bidet wants to make the world safe for perverts.

It will be equally disastrous.

Joe Biden can end this carnage if he wanted to...

How does he do that? If the USA ended its support of Ukraine tomorrow, the war would continue and probably Poland would intervene directly. About a week later there would be no Russkies left in Ukraine and you'd be calling for Biden to nuke the Pollacks to save us from Russian nuclear arms.

The 7.9mm estimate came recently, interesting.

Guess we’ll just have to wait this one out.

There will be no men to rebuild Ukraine with.

Bingo. Its the issue everyone seems to avoid.

Ukraine left the Soviet Union with about 55 million people.

Its last census was 22 years ago, which placed it at 48 million. Being the most corrupt country in Europe, its outward migration for the last 30 years has been 300-500K per year. Ukraine has also has had the lowest birth-rate in Europe.

It lost Crimea, which is about 8 million

It lost another 6-8 million as refugees. Refugees are usually younger people, who have the energy and initiative to handle the change

It lost another 10 million in the provinces Russia Controls.

Rump Ukraine probably has no more than 20 million people remaining. How many young men have been killed? 150K? 200K?

The West kept pushing for it to join NATO. Russia has declared for decades - NATO on Russia's border is an unacceptable threat.

Still, DC neocons kept pushing, and they got the result - Ukraine is destroyed. Ukraine is ALREADY utterly ruined for the next 50 years. It won't even be fit to be a proxy.

The source of the story is stated in the headline, dimwit.

Would you prefer I posted it in the original German?

The Civil War was won by Grant, who incurred casualties as necessary so long as he inflicted equivalent casualties on the Confederates.

Contrast that with McClellan and others who were reluctant to incur casualties and were ineffective.

The objective of generals is to win battles and wars, not to ensure that everyone comes home.

“That said If Russia should prevail, it will build up and recover East Germany to the USSR v.II.”

Given what Germany has mutated into, a powerful leftist greenie bastion, that might not be an entirely bad outcome. The Russians would “fix” that pronto.
