On Friday’s “CNN Newsroom,” Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL) stated that the Chinese spy balloon is a serious issue, but we should note that “the low orbit Chinese satellites have been there for years, they’re there all the time. I don’t want the American people to think this is something new and that all of a sudden we have a concern that we didn’t have before.”
Quigley stated that Secretary of State Tony Blinken should not have canceled his trip to China over the balloon, and that “if you’re angry about something, don’t talk about it through the press, talk about it nose-to-nose and the ramifications, let them know we’re serious about matters like this.”

I’m of the opinion that Xiden’s handlers made a phone call along the lines of,
“We would request that you direct one of your balloons to overfly the US. We’ll make it worth your while.”
And then a well-placed passenger says, “What is THAT???”

Made me chuckle, but I’m much more angry.
Blinken doesn’t do nose to nose confrontation very well. I still remember the Chinese chewing him out publicly the first time he met with them.
Doesn’t the Chinese Communist Party already have Police Stations in the US ?
When Chinese troops are marching down the streets of San Francisco, Quigley and his fellow Dumbacrats will say, “Nothing to see here folks, we’ve had Chinese here for 150 years.”
Hell, China has Biden & Hunter in their pocket. They don’t need balloons floating over Montana.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — The suspected Chinese spy balloon that was first spotted in Montana could pass over the Pee Dee and Myrtle Beach area on Saturday.
The balloon was first spotted in Montana, then over Missouri. The balloon was spotted over Asheville, North Carolina on Saturday morning. This balloon is roughly 60,000 feet above the surface.

Yes and they’ve finally shut one down in NYC. It’s a much greater concern than this balloon’s surveillance capability since satellites have been doing surveillance much better for years.
This balloon appears to be a test for ol’ Joe, testing for our reactions. And then one day they can float a similar balloon with an EPM, killing all electronics (and life) in the US.
Take it down now, study it, confirm what it is.
Perhaps the balloon has a different purpose than the satellites. Could it be that the balloon’s purpose is biochemical warfare?
This isn’t some super secret spy mission on the part of the Chinese. They know damn well they couldn’t fly something like this through our airspace undetected. They want us to see it. This is literally a “trial balloon” so they could assess our reaction to this situation. At this point, the Chinese must be very pleased.
And, one benefit of the balloon has been to heighten concern over China’s influence in the US. Schools, frkn’ police stations, land acquisition, everywhere....

Sounds like Quiggy is afraid these Chinese balloons over America are going to endanger the Demented One, FJB’s big comeback. The RATS had to bust their asses pulling Jo Jo’s chestnuts out of the fire over all his classified documents laying around all over Delaware and places unknown. FJB needed some fancy footwork from his “media” toads to save his Brandon Administration with more than half of its women being women.
He should resign after apologizing to the American public for being such a simplton.
