'Trust the government': EPA boss says he WOULD allow his children to drink and bathe in East Palestine water as he visits town - after Ohio senator JD Vance challenged him to drink it and shared video of 'toxic water'

The head of the US Environmental Protection Agency has said he would allow his own children to drink and bathe in public water near the site of a train derailment and chemical spill in Ohio, so long as it had been tested and deemed safe by officials.

EPA Administrator Michael Regan visited the site of the East Palestine derailment on Thursday, seeking to reassure skeptical residents that the water is fit for drinking and the air is safe to breathe.

Asked if he would allow his own children to drink the water, Regan said, as long as it has been tested: 'Yes, as a father, I trust the science, I trust the methodology that this state is using, and as a parent, I would.'

Earlier on Thursday, Senator JD Vance, an Ohio Republican, had challenged Regan to drink the water himself, saying: 'If the EPA Administrator wants to stand here and tell people that the tap water is safe…they should be willing to drink it.'

Vance also conducted his own crude water 'testing' in a video posted to Twitter, dragging a stick through a creek bed and stirring up an oily-looking rainbow sheen on the water's surface. 'I'm asking they trust the government. I know that's hard. We know there's a lack of trust,' Regan said. 'We're testing for everything that was on that train.'

The Ohio EPA said Wednesday that its latest tests show five wells supplying the village's drinking water 'showed no detection of contaminants associated with the derailment'.

The wells used for the town's drinking water are about a mile from the derailment site, and are at least 56 feet below the surface, covered by a solid steel casing that protects the water from contamination, officials said

Probably the well water is safe TODAY.

A month from now, a year from now? But my guess is there will be zero testing unless some law firm foots the bill.

The toxins seep into the ground water and then into the drinking water - likely take 50-100 years before the chemicals fully dissipate and the water is actually safe to drink again.

This is the same EPA which closed down a wood shredding facility here in SW Pennsylvania because to much tanin was getting into the runoff.

The source of the tanin? Leaves from the trees being shredded, which naturally occurs when the leaves fall in autumn. The Pennsylvania EPA tried to save it for that reason. So did PennDOT, who needed a facility to process the trees they cleared from our highways and so did the many parks and associations who benefited from the mulch produced.

The scrap metal industry in the area also benefited from the nails removed by electromagnet from the spent pallets turned in by businesses. None of this, nor the jobs of the workers, nor the capital investment of the owners, mattered because the national EPA thought they knew better than all the foregoing.

Canal+ journalist offers to go backstage to get his guest a glass of glyphosate to drink on-air, but Moore refuses and then storms off stage.

Patrick Moore: You can drink a whole quart of it and it won’t hurt you.

Canal+: You want to drink some, we have some here.

PM: I’d be happy to actually. Not really, but, I know it wouldn’t hurt me.

Canal+: If you say so, I have some.

PM: No, no. I’m not stupid. People try to commit suicide with it and fail regularly.

Canal+: No, no. Let’s tell the truth.

PM: It’s not dangerous to humans. No, it’s not.

Canal+: So are you ready to drink a glass of glyphosate?

PM: No, I’m not an idiot.”

Leftists would sacrifice their children to Baal if it would advance their political agenda.

So, I have no doubt he is telling the truth, even if the water was fluorescent green with smoke and vapors coming off of it and partially dissolved fish floating on the surface.

See the movie “Sahara”.

I would imagine the residents would be happy to provide a water sample.

EPA Administrator Michael Regan has NEVER had a job in the private sector. He has spent his entire life sucking the teats of taxpayers. He has never build anything. He has ZERO experience and his only qualification is being a negro. He is the poster child of incompetence and the deep state.

And he asks the people of East Palestine to “trust” him and “trust” the government. No eff’n way.

Nobody cares about East Palestine because it’s full of working class White people, and if they all died from cancer in the next five years the government would consider it a perk.
