Former Biden Department of Energy official Sam Brinton claimed to have been beaten by their father, who allegedly also held a gun to their head and forced them into conversion therapy.
However, their family has spoken out, denying the accusations and using police records to show that no abuse ever occurred. "I’m in this constant state of fear," Brinton previously claimed. "My dad has held a gun up to my head multiple times."
Brinton claimed they were continuously punched and sent to the emergency room at least seven times after coming out to their family when they were just 11-years-old. They also mentioned how they had been electrocuted and tortured with needles growing up.
The former Biden official's younger sister, Rachel Brinton, told The Post their parents were Southern Baptists but never exhibited any violence towards Sam or any of their three children.
"There’s no validity to those claims," Rachel explained. “First of all, the claims of conversion therapy never happened, nor did my parents abuse my brother or I."

It is never properly used for a person unless you are trying to be insulting or you truly are dealing with a unknown subjuct.
Sam is a he and will always be a he and this will be the case even after he is dead.
No one is “non-binary”. End of discussion.
All I know is that the boy has a full Neanderthal forehead. Yikes!
How ignorant do you have to be to say you were electrocuted? If the idiot isn't in a coffin he couldn't have been electrocuted. I do feel that the idiot should be electrocuted by the state.
Someone needs to send the idiot writer of this piece to Pronoun Class. The pronoun “they” is plural; this pervert is one male, so he should be referred to with the singular, masculine pronouns “he” and “him.”
No kidding! I thought he had a twin for awhile there!
The writer is as weird as the subject for this journalistic puke.
Don’t forget he does puppy play, too.
“Brinton claimed they were continuously punched and sent to the emergency room at least seven times”
So if they’re (their’re?) two persons... Then that’s 3.5 ER visits each. Yeah, I can see that.
Yep
A total wackjob, yet he got a security clearance at the Department of Energy.
A quintessential example of a Head Case.
LOL! Thanks.
It's a joke.
No, really.
