Lori Lightfoot, the first Black woman and the first openly gay person ever to serve as mayor of Chicago, on Tuesday became a one-term mayor.
Mayor Lori Lightfoot finished third in Tuesday’s election with 16.89% of the vote, behind former Chicago Public Schools CEO Paul Vallas at 33.95% and Cook County Commissioner Brandon Johnson with 20.32%.
The tragedy for Chicago is that a Communist wacko, Brandon Johnson, qualified for the April 4th run-off election. Paul Vallas is a centrist candidate. Johnson is supported by the corrupt Chicago Teachers Union, a Marxist union.
Vallas will be best. Let's see what happens. An interesting election. If the national Democrat party has any brains they will send beau coup money to Vallas, who has a long and decent track record. Vallas is Greek-American
Democrat vs Democrat.

There was a book that was adapted as documentary aired on PBS entitled “Chicago: The City of the Century.”
What was omitted from the program was that Chicago used to have a substantial Republican political class that teamed with architects and city planners such as Daniel Burnham to build a model city that once enjoyed a world wide reputation.
Ninety-two years of Democratic misrule have damaged the city greatly. It may be too late to salvage anything. The last four years have been horrific. Lightfoot was the absolute worst. A complete incompetent and a racist.
