Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) has signed a Democrat-approved bill into law that will give driver’s licenses to potentially 77,000 eligible illegal aliens.
In January and February, Democrats in the Minnesota state house and senate approved the bill to eliminate the legal residency requirement for obtaining a driver’s license in the state. Instead, illegal aliens would be able to secure licenses to legally drive vehicles.
This week, Walz signed the legislation, claiming giving driver’s licenses to illegal aliens “will make our communities safer for all Minnesotans.”

No, the Gov has signed a Dem bill that will allow all 77,000 eligible illegal aliens to use those licenses to vote in elections, thus ensuring an ad infinitum amount of illegal Dem votes to perpetuate Dem majority control of the State of MN for years to come.

Not sure if it is the same as they did in CA. In CA, it was a step by step process until they got what they wanted. First it was allowing you to register to vote when you got your drivers license (at first it was optional, not it is automatic ). Then once that was established, they allowed illegals to get DLs. This was all to get the illegals on the voter roles. They know that they won’t actually vote. They don’t need that. It gives them a list of names they can use to request absentee ballots under and send them in.

Yep. They will all vote democrat and multiple times.
Is ‘secure ID’ still ‘a thing?’
Yes Minnesota is that rat infested. Completely gone. They were purple and then Obongo flooded the state with Somali’s. They target small towns so they could rig the voting. Little farming communities found themselves being run by a bunch of savages.
I thought so ...muzzied out and sucking off as much welfare as they can....If we actually had an American Federal Government all of these things would be challenged and held up in judicial limbo.
Every American killed or injured in an accident with those border jumpers, needs to sue Walz’s Balz.

These driver’s licenses will give the illegal migrants the ability to register as voters. When the DemonkkkRATs dpn’t have enough voters, they import them. Every avenue of of government is being weaponized against the GOP.
At some point, other states will refuse to recognize licenses from Minnesota.
So, should other governors require minnesota license holders to carry passports also?
I’m a Minnesota resident and recently had to renew my drivers license. To renew my license I had to provide a certified copy of my birth certificate, a photo ID issued by a government agency (in my case my previous license), my original social security card and two proofs of my address. I was issued a temporary paper license and waited nearly 60 days to finally get my permanent license. All this was to comply with federal real ID standards.
Now apparently an illegal can show up with no legal ID or some foreign ID that could as well be a phony, neither speak nor read English and could be illiterate in their own language, have no social security card, no birth certificate and no permanent address and be issued a Minnesota drivers license. That license in my mind could not be any serious ID. Minnesota might just as well put drivers license on a roll and tear one off to anyone who shows up.
