PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Cracker Barrel has permanently closed its remaining two locations in the Portland metro area, citing the pandemic.

A spokesperson for Cracker Barrel confirmed the closure of their Beaverton and Tualatin restaurants on Monday.

They are also permanently closing a Bend location.

“As a standard course of business, we continually evaluate the performance of our stores, using various criteria to ensure we are meeting the needs of our guests and our business. With that, we are saddened that we have been unable to overcome the impact the pandemic had on our business and have made the difficult decision to close the Beaverton, Tualatin, and Bend locations.”

More businesses abandoning Portland. And the democrat voters remain clueless as to the actual cause while blaming such economic destruction on white supremacy and capitalism.

That’s a shame. I love Cracker Barrel.

I still can’t believe Cracker Barrel was in Portland to begin with.

They follow Walmart in leaving this third-world cesspool.

Then don’t travel to Portland, OR. Simple.

Newark of the Northwest.

I can understand it. Going in there must trigger every white privilege brain cell of 90% of their customers.

How dare they promote a safe southern lifestyle ?!?!?!

They said “the pandemic.”

They didn’t say which “pandemic.”

Whenever I’m at Colonial Williamsburg, I eat at the Cracker Barrel just a short walk from the hotel I stay at.

Weird. The Cracker Barrel in Rialto, CA, is usually packed. The ones I’ve been to in other states usually seem to be doign a solid business. Strange that a business model the works pretty much everywhere else would flop in Oregon, but it’s a weird state.

I’m sure the rest of the Cracker Barrel’s in Oregon are doing fine. It’s the one in PORTLAND that’s closing.

I had to fly into Portland as a staging point for traveling to the central part of the state for a Christian conference. It was a distasteful destination, but got a lot better the further I got away from it. The rest of the state is still slightly left, by Texas standards, and even Bend, OR has gone to the dark side, voting for Biden in 2020 (allegedly.) I never stopped in Pottyland once I got my rental car at the airport.

Portland is heading for the type of status you associate with Baltimore and Philadelphia. 😒😑🙄

That will just leave more room for the locally-sourced, vegan, lesbian-coop tapas bar and yoga center businesses.

I shut my business down and left Oregon years ago. The insanity with regulations was to much.

Tualatin is not exactly Portland.

It is the home of wealthy white Karens.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tualatin,_Oregon

Check out the demographics—less than 1% black.

It would be fairer to say that businesses are abandoning Oregon.

This is a state problem.

Places like Portland have become communist city-states.

They are experiencing the same sort of brain-drain that East Germany built the Berlin wall to address...

Coming soon, the Portland wall, you can come in but you can’t get out, at least not without a penalty... an exit tax will come.

“I’m sure the rest of the Cracker Barrel’s in Oregon are doing fine. It’s the one in PORTLAND that’s closing.”

Well, I checked. There were previously 4 Oregon CBs, and now they’ve closed down 3. For the time being, there’s one left in Medford. So, no, I wouldn’t say that the company is exactly thriving in the rest of the state.
