There’s no beef here if the Rich Dude did/does not have a case in front of the USSC for which Thomas did not recuse himself. This is all WHINY demonrat babies crying. “Thomas’ opinions and words work violence on us!!” LOL, GFY crybaby snowflakes.
Dems think they finally have DJT on the ropes. If they take back the HoR and hold the White House in ‘24, you can bet their next coup will be an attempt to impeach Thomas.
It’s only happened twice in U.S. history, Samuel Chase (the guy on the defunct $10,000 bill) in 1804 and Abe Fortas in 1969. Chase was impeached in the House and acquitted in the Senate. Fortas resigned to avoid the impeachment.
So if the Democrats take control, Justice Thomas may very well become a target . . .
I know this is a political hot potato as they try to get Justice Thomas but the bigger picture is troubling. I don’t care who the person is, party, position, etc., but why can’t they pay for their own vacations, gifts, etc.? I doubt he’s poor, he has a good income, and should live within his means just like most of the rest of us. And that is not a criticism of Justice Thomas, but one against all judges and politicians.
If any cases involving Harlan Crow come before the court, he should recuse himself. Otherwise, pound sand.

From what I can tell there is no mention of Supreme Court Justices within the Constitution's Emoluments Clauses.
Nor can I find anything speaking to the requirement that Supreme Court Justices must report gifts.
Now I suspect that if the Supreme Court ever ruled on cases regarding this billionaire in question that resulted favorably for the billionaire, then there is some sort of penalty for such an instance.
Are they just trying to make a case to impeach him? What are the ramifications of him being impeached & removed? Is he then denied due process?
These cucks destroying our nation via lawfare must be reined in.
Thomas is a solid jurist. There is no law against what he has done. I do wish he had the integrity to not accept these things. You get to be a Supreme Court Justice…. Maybe that comes with some expectations. I also agree everyone does it. Doesn’t make it right. Just wish someone in this stinking deep state government was better than that….
