A third suspect was arrested on Saturday in connection with the 'gang related' murders of three teenagers which shook Florida last week.
Police vowed to find Tahj Brewton, 16, after his suspected accomplices Christopher Atkins, 12, and Robert Robinson, 17, were arrested on Friday in connection with the slayings outside Ocklawaha.
The US Marshals teamed up with the Lake County Sheriff's Office to help capture Brewton after Layla Silvernail, 16, Camille Quarles, 16, and an unidentified 17-year-old boy were found shot dead and discovered over three days dumped in separate places within a 5-mile radius.
Brewton was arrested on several charges, including grand theft, carjacking with a firearm, attempting to elude a law enforcement officer and tampering with an electronic monitoring device, according to the sheriff's department.
The three teenagers arrested in connection to the murders all face additional charges and first-degree murder.
Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods explained at a Friday press conference that the victims and the alleged killers were all 'associated in some way with a gang' that was involved in a spate of robberies and burglaries. Detectives were able to determine that the three teenage victims were together prior to their murders in a vehicle owned by Silvernail, before they were dumped in different locations over a three-day period.
According to an arrest affidavit filed against 12-year-old Atkins, Silvernail's body was discovered in a garbage dumpster after a vehicle crashed into it soon after residents heard several gunshots.
Sixteen-year-old Silvernail was shot in the head and was still alive when she was discovered near Forest Lakes Park, however she later succumbed to her injuries and died in hospital.
The discovery was followed hours later when an unnamed 17-year-old victim was found less than a mile away on the side of a road.

People love to plant Black Lives Matter in their safe suburban yards and feel all good and righteous about themselves. But scores of black kids still get shot in urban areas every single week in our country.
If black lives truly mattered, we would be calling out the problem of fatherless black urban youth running amok in our cities and getting caught up in "gangsta culture' that usually leads to death or prison for these kids, not to mention a lifetime of poverty for their women and children.
Many good black people ARE calling this out, but they are drowned out by the virtue-signaling white liberals who would rather just plant lawn signs in their yards and accuse anybody who wants to actually do something about the problem of being racists.
I guess Jesse Jackson considers it a problem race. Hes not worried about bumping into whites in dark stairwells at 3am. Hes worried about blacks.
The crime stats back it. Even black females as a group have a significantly higher murder rate than white men.
And further, almost all blacks who are murdered, are murdered by other blacks. Over 90%. Most whites are murdered by blacks, too.
I take no pleasure in saying this. But facts are stubborn things. If the black population were magically transported en masse back to Mother Africa tomorrow the crime rate in the US would plummet to levels unseen in generations.

I am not responsible for the behavior of Hitler, Stalin, or even Biden; i don’t see how black people can be held accountable for people of the same general gene type/skin color. Democrats have been actively working to destroy the black race since the mid 1960’s.

Hes basing it on crime statistics. Maybe if they said something overtly racist you’d have something concrete to point to, but you don’t. You just “know” the poster is racist.
The crime stats do support the claim its a real problem within the black demographic. Its a general statement that its a general problem, not that every single black person is a problem.

Well, yes. And if everyone over 70 were to magically die tomorrow, health care costs in the US would be much lower than they are today.
I absolutely believe you when you said that you take no pleasure in saying what you said. The problem is that there are too many race-baiters on each end of the issue (I’m not including you there).
We have to look deeper. Blacks are disproportionately causing crime. But why? As I noted in my post #8, I believe this is fundamentally an economics problem. Democrats have been quite successful in keeping most blacks poor and dependent on government handouts. That breeds moral decay.
Trump tried to change this by bringing good factory jobs back to America. He failed because Democrats blocked him. They like blacks exactly where they are.
Will this be considered as a hate crime? All 3 perps are black and the 2 victims revealed are white.

One of the alleged in this case is 12 years old. The safest way for Whites to avoid being the victims of crime is to avoid being in contact with Blacks, especially Black Males.
