Yep, the biggest complaint is that Putin is taking his time. They’d probably prefer Medvedev, who will simply flatten Ukraine and be done with it. It should be noted that this call was between TWO PEOPLE, even though the headline implies a group call (typical Western propaganda).
But it is understandable, given that its been a year, but one thing to keep in mind is that Putin’s inner circle have far more information from which to develop their strategy than people on the outside, so it is very possible that Putin is effectively cleaning out the inventories of the West and will finish the job in the sweet spot (roughly a year from now), when Western production finally starts ramping up significantly (I hear from a DOD contractor buddy that finding Drag Queens to work at defense plants isn’t as easy as it sounds, so hiring is taking longer than expected).
We shall see what happens...
Broke countries like United States with national debt way bigger than GDP should focus on fixing the country, and protect our own borders before increasing national debt more to protect borders of other countries.

Everything that has happened in Ukraine was a result OUR meddling in Ukraine. We wanted this proxy war and thwarted multiple attempts by Russia at preventing. The Minsk Agreement would have prevent it but we had Ukraine sign and renege on it. The Russians came to us in December of 2021 with their security concerns and we blew them and ordered Ukraine to go on the offensive in Donetsk and Lugansk and try to exterminate ethnic Russians there. We and the Brits killed a peace deal in March of last year in Turkey that was close to being completed.
We wanted this proxy because we wanted to turn Russia into what we had turned Ukraine into -- a cash cow for our elite.
The lies you're spewing about this war are endanger us all. We are viewed, correctly, by the majority of the world as the world's bully and that has lead to de-dollarization that is threat to our economic well-being. Never mind that we're closer to a hot war with Russia and nuclear war than we ever were during the Cold War.

George Kennan was the famous US diplomat who supported the containment of the Soviet Union and his policy of containment was the official US policy during the “Cold War”.
Kennan openly opposed Clinton’s move in 1997 knowing it would lead to the kind of violent conflict his containment of the Soviet Union helped to avoid.
