Don’t over analyze this. Big Business has been aligned with cultural Marxism for years. They have gone full in our faces in recent years. Brands do not mean a damn thing. Neither do profits. They are at war with small business. They actively eliminate small business through acquisitions and lobbying for anticompetitive regulations and tax laws. Killing brands is the equivalent of tearing down statues and changing history.

It doesn’t matter. As the article says it’s a declining brand. It’s a pretty disgusting beverage. And the brand is owned by the largest brewery in the world, InBev. They make all kinds of beers and malts and liquors etc.

So whether “it works” or “doesn’t work” is inconsequential except maybe to a handful of people who are the brand managers and sales executives for Bud Light. The bars and retailers will just stock something else if Bud Light doesn’t turn off the shelf fast enough. And probably that replacement will come from InBev.

I think that they’re looking at the transgender and their sympathizers similarly to the way the hospitals that do the transgender surgeries do, big dollar signs. Unfortunately, BL shat on their former customer base, who maybe were aging and dying off, so maybe they just don’t care about them. They are trying to win the loyalty of the impressionable skulls full of mush. Time will tell if there are enough of them to make this a profitable decision.

Had to go to wally world today, and checked out the beer cooler.
Bud, bud light, Michelob, mick light, Busch and Busch light and Corona were stacked to the ceiling... All other beer was sold out....

See Michael Ramirez’s cartoon from April 6 (included in today’s “Today’s Toons”). It has a goat which identifies as a Clydesdale. A barrel of Bud Light has a disclaimer “Identifies as Beer.”

I think the idea is the tranny supporters will be making a statement by drinking Bud Light. They hope that making a statement will be more important to this segment, than drinking a good tasting beer.

Oh I’m definitely disparaging the beer. But most of all the mentality. She straight up says it is a “product in decline” and “has been for a long time”. Heck I remember probably 15 years ago when one of their executives flat out admitted, and presented the evidence from their “vaulted” runs (stuff they store for long term comparison) that Bud Light was steadily getting lighter in color with declining flavor. And yet here we are all this time later and they’re trying to stop that decline with changing the marketing. They really need to borrow a page from Dominos. they were also a product in decline. And they rebooted everything. Changed the ingredients, changed the methods, and straight up in their ad campaign admitted they had been selling a bad product and were fixing it. Now they’re back to 42% of the chain delivery business.

Admit internally your product sucks, fix it, admit externally your product sucks and that you’re fixing it.
