-Ralph Yarl was shot through a glass door by a white homeowner in his 80s after mistakenly approaching the wrong address
-He had been going to collect his two younger twin brothers from a house less than a block away in Kansas City, Missouri
-Police have not brought any charges in the incident, and released the suspected gunman after 24 hours
A homeowner accused of shooting a black teenager in Missouri after the 16-year-old mistakenly rang his doorbell is understood to be an elderly white man in his 80s…
… Ralph was known among his peers for his intellect and for being a 'musical genius', before he was shot in the head and arm. The teen had received a letter from Yale Undergraduate Admissions Board identifying him as a 'good candidate' for the prestigious university. Ralph is part of his high school's Technology Student Association and Science Olympia Team, plays in the marching, jazz, and competition band, and is one of the top base clarinet players in Missouri. He had big dreams of attending college after being recognized as a Missouri scholar academy alumni in 2022.

The first story surrounding these stories is usually fake as ——. That’s all I know.
You have learned nothing, these last few years?🤔
I’ve never met a white person, but saw one portrayed in The Eiger Sanction.
Once dated a gal with white ‘headlights’, though...
Could’ve all been avoided if the homeowner had a Ring-like device where he could speak to the door knocker without opening the door. Of course, most 80+ year olds are not very technically savvy, but presumably family members could have taught him, if he had any. As it stands, this dude was minding his own business at home and likely is now in hot water because of lack of communication between the homeowner and visitor.
they let him go cuz they didnt have a victim statement
Has no one learned, these last few years, that the first version of the story is never true?
See post #82.
The houses there are amazing...very,very serious $$$ there. One thing that strikes me about the houses is that many don't have numbers in front of them. I wonder "if this house needs an ambulance how will they know which house it is?" One would think that state and local laws would require clear, obvious markings in front of houses so the cops/fire department/ambulance will recognize their destination.
Me too, I wonder what the real story was.
It could be the way they name the streets.
Here in Calgary, for example, the city is divided into quadrants, NE, SE, SW, NW. Many avenues and streets are numbered from ‘1st’ up, beginning at a defined ‘centre’ of the city. In addition, many of the ‘communities’ (aka neighborhoods) within the suburbs, will have similar names within that ‘community’. In addition, many of this ‘community’ roads, may be named ‘Road’, ‘Street’, ‘Avenue’, ‘Boulevard’, ‘Circle’, ‘Close’, ‘Rise’, ‘Terrace’, ‘Bay’, etc.
There are likely plenty of cities that follow similar naming conventions, so it is easy to make a mistake in such neighborhoods, if you don’tknow it well.
Lori Lightfoot said the teen riots this weekend were mostly peaceful.... It’s all in how you see things.
There’s no neighborhood listed but the stats are available on line for all neighborhoods... In just about every city.
The national media were strangely silent about the horrific murders of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsome some years ago. Didn’t fit the narrative.
Neil deGrasse Tyson is an eff’n leftist moron.
Every so often the people around the corner get our mail.
Same street number, different street.
Yup.
I had an unknown intoxicated person ringing my bell at 11 pm and knocking on the door for 30 minutes. Watched them with a security camera.
I didn’t go to the door, but called the police and they scared em away.
Accident? Cmon.
There’s nothing unusual about similarly named streets in every city. I live on Zuni Trl S and across the intersection is Zuni Trl N. Of course, the person giving the address/directions to this boy could have been lazy and forgotten to include the full street designation. One of my pet peeves is people who do this, getting lazy on street names. So I stand corrected.
The old man can’t rely on self-defense.
