Election officials, appointed by Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R), are set to remove nearly 19,000 dead voter registrants from Virginia’s voter rolls.
This week, Virginia Department of Elections Commissioner Susan Beals, appointed by Youngkin last year, announced that close to 19,000 dead registrants were recently discovered on the state’s voter rolls.

I bet Virginia Democrats are screaming that Younkin is depriving 19k Democrats of the right to vote.
I am fairly certain that when a death certificate is issued in Virginia, that state agency reports the death to the SSA.

Great news. This is why I believe that Virginia will be won AGAIN by Trump.
For reasons I can’t understand, the theft of Virginia in 2020 has not been talked about.
With 97% of vote in Trump was up around four points then counting stopped with no explanation. When it came back, the announcement was that Trump lost by ten points.
Absolutely impossible.
Now with an ambitious Republican governor, ambitious Republican Lt. Governor and ambitious Republican Atty General things will change and Trump will win Virginia’s 13 ECVs. That will end any worries about the rodents stealing Wisconsin again.
That makes sense. I wonder how much time delay there is from reporting to the SSA to registrars picking up o it and purging the rolls.
Not even 2 months from when my dad passed away till a letter was sent from the county voter registrar saying that his voter registration had been cancelled.
That is not say that all voter registrars are as diligent. Back when voteref still had Virginia voter records, it was quite easy to find voters exceeding 100 years in age. Whether that was an error in the birthdate or a voter that is actually over 100 years old, or a dead voter, who knows.
Good start! Now do all the illegal aliens.
Oh! The Horror! Some of the names purged were going for the Guinness World record for voting in three consecutive centuries! So what if the last 20 years they could not be found above ground.
Every vote must count! Or, as the democRATS say: count every vote until we win, and then shut up!
Such a waste of time.
Every four years (or even more often), just completely delete (archive) the voter rolls. After a Presidential inauguration, everyone’s gotta actively re-register to vote.
How difficult would that be? (That’s rhetorical; not hard at all.)
