Election officials, appointed by Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R), are set to remove nearly 19,000 dead voter registrants from Virginia’s voter rolls.

This week, Virginia Department of Elections Commissioner Susan Beals, appointed by Youngkin last year, announced that close to 19,000 dead registrants were recently discovered on the state’s voter rolls.

Registrars “will be able” to check if the voter is dead. Family members ‘can’ report the deaths. Like all democrat family members will do it. Like all registrars will check death rolls. Yeah right.

The Breitbart article doesn’t question how many of the dead voted or their party affiliation. Could be clean but who knows? And blue states will follow suit? Who makes sure the registrars are doing their job when the registrar is affiliated with one party? It’s all B.S. Breitbart is no help.

In Virginia the County Registrars are supposed to purge the rolls of deceased voters continually, by among other things, using the Social Security Death Index. Not all people who die are social security recipients, and I would guess that younger people’s deaths do not get reported to the SSA, at least not promptly.

19,000 across the entire state is not that many. However, I hope Youngkin bores down on WHERE this wasn’t happening (could it be Democrat-run cities?), and require replacement of any local Registrars not doing their job. Other problems are likely rife in the same places.

Every GOP governor needs to make sure this is done in their state. In Georgia, we have Kemp who turned a blind eye to the incorrect voter roles as doing so has helped him be elected to a second term.
