Fauci absolves himself of responsibility for lockdowns in testy interview: 'Show me a school that I shut down'
Fox News ^ | 4/25 | Michael Lee

Dr Anthony Fauci said data, evidence frequently changed as pandemic raged

Dr. Anthony Fauci struck a defensive tone during a recent interview in which he reflected on his and the government's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, admitting that mistakes were made despite his best efforts.

"Show me a school that I shut down and show me a factory that I shut down. Never. I never did," Fauci said when asked about the consequences of "heavy-handed" public health policies in a New York Times interview published Tuesday. "I gave a public health recommendation that echoed the CDC’s recommendation, and people made a decision based on that. But I never criticized the people who had to make the decisions one way or the other."

The response was just one of several in which Fauci defended his guidance during the pandemic, pushing back against critics who have accused him of being wrong about everything, from masks to how effective vaccines would be.

No Evidence, Shielding Helped Vulnerable People During COVID, Study Shows
epoch times ^ | 25 April A.D. 2023 | Owen Evans

Angus Dalgleish, Professor of Oncology at St. Georges Hospital Medical School London, is renowned for his ground-breaking work on HIV/AIDS. Dalgleish told The Epoch Times by email that the study’s findings were not surprising.

“Everything the government did had no scientific basis, including lockdowns, shielding, masks and, I would add to that, the vaccine programme, which has clearly caused more harm than good,” he said.

“They should have done what I and others advised: top-up vitamin D3 levels and treat early symptoms as you would any other airborne infection—aspirin, mouthwash, intranasal interferon, and becotide,” he said.

“Now we hear that mask-wearing has caused increased pneumonia, long COVID symptoms, and cognitive decline,” said Dalgleish.

He isn’t the responsible person… The leader always takes full responsibility, admits mistakes and corrects course. There were voices everywhere, including the White House calling for reason.

Biden could say something like that about the Afghanistan debacle that got 13 marines killed: show me a marine that I killed

If’s not about direct involvement, but about the general policies that come with repercussions.

Dopey Fauci.

(He actually is the size of “Dopey”.)

Fauci lied, people died. (and you ain’t seen nothin’ yet)

Fauci Lied and millions of small businesses and ‘small people’ went broke.

Fauci may not have personally gone and put padlocks on the doors of schools, businesses and churches etc, but his lies persuaded or coerced thousands of state, county and local politicians and bureaucrats to do it.

For me, this is the essence of what Fascism really is, as a blend of Big Business and Big Government.

The Big Government guy issues dire warnings and makes it very clear that the world might end unless schools, factories and hospitals behave responsibly.

The schools, factories and hospitals institute the desired policies, because they know what's good for them and do not want to be punished by the government.

Did the government shut down a school? Oh, certainly not.
Did the school shut itself down? Well, yes, it was the responsible thing to do — you saw those government warnings, right?????

All kinds of bad things can be done, and it's never anyone's fault because the other guy played a big role. So, my hands are always clean.

I was threatened with instant termination unless I complied.
It took two months to fully recover from the jab.

Dr. Fauci reportedly to testify reopening too early risks ‘needless suffering and death’ from Coronavirus

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's leading infectious disease specialist and a key member of President Donald Trump's White House coronavirus task force, reportedly plans to publicly warn states Tuesday that prematurely reopening their economies will cause “needless suffering and death.” On Monday night, The New York Times’ Sheryl Gay Stolberg reported that Fauci had sent her an email ahead of his public testimony the following day at a hearing of Senate's Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. “The major message that I wish to convey to the Senate HLP committee tomorrow is the danger of trying to open the country...

It will be one of the first opportunities for Dr. Fauci to tell Americans the truth without President Trump lurking over his shoulder in a White House press conference. — Chuck Schumer . . . “The major message that I wish to convey…is the danger of trying to open the country prematurely,” Dr. Fauci told the New York Times. “If we skip over the checkpoints in the guidelines…then we risk the danger of multiple outbreaks.”

Fauci warns of ‘suffering and death’ if US reopens too soon

WASHINGTON - Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's top infectious disease expert, is warning Congress that if the country reopens too soon during the coronavirus pandemic, it will result in “needless suffering and death.” Fauci is among the health experts testifying to a Senate panel. His testimony comes as President Donald Trump is praising states that are reopening after the prolonged lock-down aimed at controlling the virus’ spread. Fauci, in a statement to The New York Times, warned that officials should adhere to federal guidelines for a phased reopening, including a “downward trajectory” of positive tests or documented cases of coronavirus...

Yep, it was a perfect situation for the leftie governors. If the lockdowns, etc worked, they could take the credit. If they failed, Trump could take the blame.

The essence of fascism can be summed up in its slogan, “From all to the state. From the state, to all.”

Part of that is using private industry as part of the bureaucracy in return for a guaranteed share of the economy.

Trudeau just came out to say he never forced the vaxx on anyone it was entirely their choice to take it. They are all trying to walk back or minimize their fascist covid actions now.

The many voices of reason were cancelled, smeared, denigrated, besmirched, ridiculed and threatened. Just look at the professional, highly intelligent Dr. Scott Atlas who was nearly ruined by the rabid, insane leftist mob.

It is utterly ridiculous for Fauci to make the claim the he didn’t order the schools closed. He didn’t do the the same way Hitler didn’t order the Jews exterminated.

Wrong.

See post 12, NeverTrump troll.

He was the country’s ‘utmost virus/health expert’, tool.

You know exactly the heck Pres Trump would’ve caught, had he NOT taken FRAUDci’s advice and recommendations, You know they had the fake news jackal media lined up, and, salivating, to pounce on Pres Trump....if he dared bucked Lord FRAUDci.

FRAUDci had already put the fear of death and dying into the masses....but, you know that, too.

Take your spin twist back to DU.
