You speak too hastily. I live in the Durango, Colo. area north of Farmington and I just heard it was three ladies who are not trouble makers. One owns a day care center.

NM seems to have a high number of officers shot in the line of duty. A quick search shows it to be the 4th most dangerous state as far as deaths are concerned. Mississippi is the most dangerous.

Ok then. Three people were killed in a shooting incident, two police officers were injured.
Police are civilians.

How about "people"? Although I assume they were citizens of somewhere they might not have been US citizens.

I know people think I am just nit picking but it leads to a dangerous mindset.
If the police are not civilians then they are an occupying military force. And we are under martial law.
That would not be a good thing.
