Ted Cruz Goes There on FBI Cover-Up of Alleged Biden Bribery Tapes
Red State. ^ | June 12, 2023 | Bonchie

In the most troubling revelation yet related to Joe Biden’s alleged bribery scandal, Sen. Chuck Grassley announced on Monday that over a dozen different tapes exist of conversations involving the matter. Even more shocking is that two of the tapes supposedly contain Biden himself speaking directly to the foreign national who says he arranged the bribes.

...

Sen. Chuck Grassley says the foreign national who bribed Joe and Hunter Biden allegedly has 17 different recordings of conversations he had with them that he kept as an "insurance policy."

"The foreign national who allegedly bribed Joe and Hunter Biden allegedly has audio recordings of his conversations with them. 17 such recordings."

"According to the 1023 the foreign National possesses 15 audio recordings of phone calls between him and Hunter Biden. According to the 1023, the foreign national possesses two audio recordings of phone calls between him and then Vice President Joe Biden."

"These recordings were allegedly kept as a sort of insurance policy for the foreign national."

...

That was all in the FD-1023 form that was shown to Congress some days prior to the writing. The problem is that no one knew that because it was all redacted by the FBI before members of the House Oversight Committee got their hands on it.

Why was it redacted? Sen. Ted Cruz has a pretty good idea.

...

It's been obvious for quite some time that Biden’s partisan Democrat lackeys at the DOJ & FBI have been working to coverup allegations of corruption against Joe Biden.

If the FBI was this blatantly complicit in stonewalling, that is deeply disturbing.

...

Every step of the way, FBI Director Christopher Wray and his bureau have sought to obstruct any investigation into what could be the biggest presidential scandal in American history. We are talking about millions of dollars in bribes paid to someone in their official capacity who now resides in the White House. Given the gravity of the situation, it is unconscionable that the FBI wouldn’t do everything they could to flesh out the source of the information and to pursue all leads.

That hasn’t happened, and as a result, we’ve gotten a slow drip of information, with House Republicans (and now Senate Republicans) uncovering bits and pieces one step at a time. It should not be that way. It should not be up to politicians to do the work the FBI should be doing.

Regardless, if it is going to be up to Republicans to investigate this with congressional authority, there is simply no excuse to have redacted the information about those tapes. The only possible explanation is corruption as part of a cover-up, and I refuse to believe at this point that Wray is in the dark about all this. An FD-1023 allegedly a vast criminal scheme involving a president doesn’t get shown to anyone without the head of the FBI’s express permission.

That means Wray has almost certainly been involved in trying to hide damning possible evidence from Congress of Biden’s alleged criminality. What do you call that? You call that obstruction and contempt of Congress, and it’s high time for some accountability on that front.

Republicans have to kick things into high gear now. A subpoena of the confidential informant who wrote the FD-1023 needs to happen immediately. Whoever that informant is will be able to shed more light on the foreign national who allegedly set up the bribes. Further, that informant can provide valuable information on what the FBI does and doesn’t know, possibly further exposing the ongoing cover-up.

As to the foreign national, that’s a trickier situation. Congress should do everything it can to get that person in a hearing under oath. Unfortunately, subpoenas don’t do much when you are dealing with non-US citizens that are based overseas. Still, no stone can be left unturned, and perhaps the foreign national will be willing to voluntarily help, especially if the Bidens screwed them over.

~~~
It’s more than just disturbing.
It’s more than just criminal.
The FBI and DOJ are not the praetorian guard for an emperor!
Remember where we were supposed to have a constitutional representative democracy with checks and balances and division of power and power of the people and all that fake BS?
I’m waiting for someone to say:
Ukraine was a deep-state/DNC black box of corruption and money-laundering
Now 350K Ukes are dead, to help protect and prolong the scheme.
that was the only “strategic interest” America’s DC elites had there
The left started the war when they decided to take revenge for Bill getting impeached, Hillary being denied the precertificate. Al gore losing to bush, and for Obama being questioned about his birth cirtificate.
Now we are in a spot where the left’s vile rage and revenge have opened up the door to them being captured In Their own snares as they try to lay traps one after another for the right. THE left keep trying to make the case that the right are corrupt, but the world is learning mthat that compared to the corruption of the left, the right seem like choir Boys.
Been praying that the left will fall to their own schemes, and be exposed so badly that America doesn’t vote for another dem president for decades. (But sadly people,have too short a memory).
Those of us who are old enough to remember Watergate may recall when Alexander Butterfield testified there were audio tapes of Nixon conversations in the Oval Office, the media went nuts over the revelations.
Now that that it's been revealed a top member of their own team may be implicated in wrongdoing by taped conversations, they sit quiet.
The clip I saw of Cruz talking about this actually left me heated. He sat there like his only role was to observe. He portrayed no call to action for himself. Like he was happy to sit on his ass while 90+ yo old man fights our battles.
The silence of the GOP on matters Trump is deafening.
They have tapes of Biden taking brides and have (mostly) said and done nothing.
Somebody help me here.
Why was Trump impeached in 2019 again? What did the Democrats and NSA and CIA whistle blowers claim?
Ya think maybe this has something to do with sending $100 billion + to Ukraine with almost no oversight?
Compare, contrast, analyze.
They have forgotten the concept of the following
“Since when have we Americans been expected to bow submissively to authority and speak with awe and reverence to those who represent us? The constitutional theory is that we the people are the sovereigns, the state and federal officials only our agents. We who have the final word can speak softly or angrily. We can seek to challenge and annoy, as we need not stay docile and quiet.”— Justice William O. Douglas”
