President Joe Biden touted the benefits of government infrastructure during a speech on “Bidenomics” in Chicago on Wednesday — but could not seem to keep the lights on, and delivered his remarks in semi-darkness.
It was not immediately clear why Biden was so poorly lit. The venue, the Old Chicago Main Post Office, is a landmark at the end of the Eisenhower Expressway, which is often clogged with traffic on a typical weekday.

Every President since Reagan has had the suffix “nomics “ added to his name to refer to his economic policies. Just another of trite cliches our politics is rooted in these days. In this case, Biden actually adopted the term explicitly the other day, and KJP was nattering on about how appropriate and clever they think it is. Honestly we’re being ruled by some of the biggest dullards around.

I watched about 10 minutes of his bull-shiite and then flipped over to Blue Bloods. We spent a bazillion dollars to get inflation under control (it isn’t), we created hundreds of thousands new jobs (must have included post-Kung Flu returns), prices are lower than ever (’than ever’ must be about three years), etc. All complete crap.
If the Rs take the House, Senate and POTUS I wanna see rope dances out in the cherry trees by the end of 2024. Start with the Mulatto Messiah and his inner circle.

Doesn’t make any sense. No government would spend money to lower inflation. Putting more money in the system would increase demand and cause inflationary pressures to increase.
