Ron DeSantis' Campaign Is in Deep Trouble
Newsweek ^ | 07/03/2023 | Ewan Power

Having previously been touted as the GOP's next presidential hopeful, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' White House bid has been floundering over the past few months, with even Republican figures casting doubt on the future of his campaign.

DeSantis's unfavorable rating among potential voters has been steadily rising since late March, when he recorded a split 39.3 percent favorable rating. This includes the time after he confirmed his 2024 bid in late May in an error-strewn Twitter Space online announcement.

Ron has an ugly face and an ugly haircut. His wife is a beauty though. Happy Independence Day.

Trump going all in on the Culture War, and becoming Trump 2.0 cuts off a key DeSantis argument.

My impression is that a lot of people think highly of DeSantis until the first time they hear one of his campaign speeches.

He lost support by running.

His career is over.

Why is Newsweak intersted in helping to diminish the DeSantis campaign. I think no matter how popular Trump is in the GOP, the DNC is hoping for a repeat of 2020 - Trump in legal trouble, Biden hiding in the basement, mainstream media barely covering Biden and mainstream media keeping Trumps legal troubles alive 24/7/365. In that strategy the DNC thinks the Dims and the independents will hold their noses and vote for Biden.

Elementary Dr Watson, as Sherlock Holmes would have said.
Newsweek wants Trump to be the nominee. He would be easier to attack in the media.

DeSantis acted on bad advice. He should have waited until 2028.

That is closer to the truth than anything else. But his sugar daddy’s did not let him wait his automatic turn in 2028. That crowd wants Trump away from Executive power at all costs.

Agree...Why go up against the most loved, revered and respected president in modern American history? I believe they used him as a spike strip in an attempt to stop Trump. A predictable colossal fail.

“They” took him out.
Deep State needed to make sure their true target, our PDJT The GOAT, draws all the oxygen in the room and clears the field before they take him out.
The McRomBushies had no intention of winning, there just along for the grift.

Nimrata & Vivek aren’t Natural Born so they are out. Guess what? Florida Man ain’t neither.

Guess it’s just the LardArse from New Jersey left to pester and grasp at straws.

All the rich Anti-Trump donors have pumped millions into his pacs.
I doubt they will invest more money into him in 28.

Could not agree more. But career politicians are conrtolled by their rich donor crowd and that crowd is as anti-Trump as it gets.
