So with murder, rape, assaults, burglary, and shoplifting running a mok in NY, they send twelve police officers to arrest a guy smoking a cigarette outside. In a city in which a guy feels free to ride his motorcycle down the street just shooting random people, the police apparently have their priorities in line.
At least they made it home safe. Back the blue, lol.
Again...where are all the “back the blue” useful idiots? Come on out wherever you are. I’ll wait.

People will say he “escalated” the situation because he didn’t identify himself, but that doesn’t excuse such initial foolishness on behalf of the cops.
NY..NY! If can make it there without being shot and or raped and or robbed...
Did they check the guy’s Covid jab history card? Can’t be too careful.
Seems every day I read some new insanity about NYC and other urban cities.
Instead of saying “lawyer” they now say “immigrant so don’t ask me anything.”

Did not know it was a crime not to have ID on your person if not in a situation that requires age ID, is bar, buying smokes etc. There is a law in most states that may require you to identify yourself ie, giving them your name but not a physical id card.
Yeah, he was wearing a suit, tie, and dress shoes. Probably had been indoors for some dressy event, where you can’t smoke, and went outside for a break.
What a threat he is to civil society. /s

It gives them something to do.
Episodes of the TV show “Cops” show us that many cops are heroes. They do difficult and dangerous work.
Personal video devices show us that many cops are arrogant, egotistical trash. They escalate whenever possible.
Now here’s something the police evidently just don’t get. Things are not balancing out.
More and more Americans are losing respect for the police.
For real. I didn’t have a stitch of ID on me at my daughter’s wedding last week. I had my cell phone (on silent/ do not disturb), some tissues, and some lipgloss in my purse. No ID. Outdoors but a black tie event.
The police do what they’re told to do. The corrupt NYC administration has its priorities wrong. It has no desire to stop the rapes, murders and thefts. In fact, it encourages them. It helps druggies get supplies and doesn’t try to stop them.
But a cigarette! A sure sign of the White middle class, which they hate and want to harass and intimidate.
Reminds me of the guy selling single cigs on S.I.
Tell me why can’t you buy that in the store?
