Chris Christie is one step closer to making the Republican debate stage.
The former New Jersey governor claimed late Wednesday to have reached the 40,000 unique donors required to participate in the Aug. 23 showdown in Milwaukee, Wis.
“Last night, we went past 40,000 unique donors in just 35 days, and it gives you some perspective because I ran eight years ago,” Christie told CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “In 35 days, eight years ago, we had 5,000 donors. We have over 40,000 donors now.
“There is a donor in every state in America and we have over 200 donors in 36 states,” the 60-year-old added. “So we have really broad support for the candidacy. We’re really thrilled about it.”

Surprised he got 40,000. Well, we know he won’t pander up to Trump like fan boy Vivek, but will he focus on Trump or on one or more of the other candidates?
He can talk all he wants but he won’t get my vote.
Vivek is currently in 3rd place with 8%. He looks like his BMI isn’t that high.

I would say of those 40 thousand donors, over half are paid democrat operatives.
They wat to see Trump destrpyed , but Chris Christie just does not have the torpedo power.
Oh yeah the Fat One is built in . . Trump should avoid any debate. Let them all look at one another.
Christie’s goal is the re-election of Joe Biden. He is trying to damage Republicans and the Republican brand to peal off “soft” GOP voters into not voting GOP. You can tell this in the things he has said and done since his “campaign” began.
