The poll, released Wednesday, shows Trump leading the pack with 47 percent of support among a sample of 1,640 Republicans.
He sits 28 percentage points above Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), who takes 19 percent.
The margin between the pair has grown seven points since the June Reuters/Ipsos poll. Since then, Trump has climbed four percentage points, while DeSantis has slid three points.
Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy has surged six points from last month’s poll and sits in third place with nine percent support, followed by former Vice President Mike Pence at seven percent.

Come on desanctis reboot, boot him out of the 10's into single digits.....
Karl Rove & Co are counting on DeSantis
meatball ron is this year’s scott walker
Were, not are.
There is no hope.
Vivek is stealing their thunder. If its not Trump it would be Vivek.
But its going to be Trump, because bogus charges wont keep people from voting for Trump.
If Vivek got the nomination I wonder how many states an Indian guy would actually win.
Like Murdoch said...he just “isn’t connecting for some reason...” lol Hopefully he and Fox will move to Kennedy now. I don’t like DeSantis either but not THAT much. The speed and timing of this downfall is just really odd.
Wait till the stuff about him and covid gets out.
That's not even counting the huge slice of polling by the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, who hails from NJ.
Interesting that the two “outside” candidates are leading. Kind of blows up narrative about the Republican Party being racist Trump supporters when the number two candidate has brown skin. If the truth is really acknowledged, the situation reflects that the party is rejecting the establishment and will only support outsiders that may or may not let them down, but at least it is better than the option of supporting a candidate they KNOW will let them down.
This can’t be right. All I am hearing from the MSM is that Pubs are abandoning Trump in droves.
The American might do well.
Given everything that has happened since Jan. 6, and the unmitigated power the democrat/media/legal complex has, your claim may be proven incorrect. It is naive to view 2024 like a normal election year where Trump can campaign, win the nomination, win the general election, and serve a 2nd term. It is anything BUT a normal election.
If its Vivek, it will give the Soros Crime Family a direct inroad to the White House.
Obviously a LOT of us do want to move on from Trump. Back before covid his support from Republicans was consistently ~90%. Now according this, it's ~47%, or roughly half. Rightfully so, based on his performance the last 4 years.
Maybe a part of me would like to move on from Trump, but everytime I find that any alternatives are left wanting.
Exactly!
Not me.
I think that most of the negative sentiment comes from Trump being bashed 24/7 from every corner. I don’t buy it.
How so? I must have missed a news cycle.
Under this premise, it doesn’t matter who the nominee is. Ron DeSantis is not somehow immune to the same machine which has ground Trump’s election chances into the dust.
Under that conjecture that “they will cheat anyway.” The system will not correct itself, Biden is better at the helm as he is immensely corrupted and corruptable.
