Most of these candidates have zero chance, but besides the usual business opportunities opened by running for president, they probably all figure they have a shot at the convention if Trump is in jail and there’s no clear alternative candidate - not an unreasonable assumption.

4. Populist Democrats

Romney is in group 2 and Trump is in group 3.
