It's time to change how our country fills the ranks of our military.
Since 1775, our nation has used a combination of volunteers and draftees to meet our national defense personnel needs, especially in times of crisis.
Today, the military needs only about 160,000 youth from an eligible population of 30 million to meet its recruitment needs. But after two decades of war -- both of which ended unsuccessfully -- and low unemployment, many experts believe the all-volunteer force has reached a breaking point. And American confidence in its military is at a low.

The first order of business is to have a country worth defending. THEN come and have a conversation about how to go about doing that.
Nobody with a brain and/or a moral compass has any business in the U.S. military today.
It’s a serious problem. I can totally understand why any youts with common sense would view the current armed services with much suspicion.
I AGREE and it should begin with the Children and Grand Children between the ages of 17 and 30 of EVERY ELECTED or APPOINTED official in this country
And now a draft allows them to flood the military with folks who will have no problem putting down the patriots.

Forcing Americans in the 18-26 year-old range to team up with the freaks and perverts now serving would be tantamount to kidnapping and sex trafficking. Naturally that makes perfect sense in an administration hell bent on using the world’s children for playthings through open borders.
No. We need a military dedicated from the top, and a foreign policy restricted to promoting a realistic and uncorrupted, uninflated, sense of the national (not deep state - imperial) interest. All volunteer would be more than sufficient.

....absolutely not!!! no way in hell.....I went to Navy boot camp at Great Lakes in the early 1960s and looked forward to my Navy service....if that Navy had been today’s Navy I would have never signed up...get rid of the wokesters, the open homos, the trannies, the officer corps who push CRT and so forth to keep their careers on track and maybe there would be enough volunteers, but now...?? no way, Jose.....
