In the 1960s and 1970s the AR-15 was available but no one wanted them. Plastic, NOT ACCURATE, too small for deer, ugly.

I never paid attention to them until they tried to ban them. That put them on my "must have" list.

Criminals who get guns illegally will not be paying this tax. But I understand why democrats want this tax. Their plan is to seize guns from honest, non-violent citizens while deliberately leaving them in the hands of violent criminals. So the motivation is very clear.

Again, forget about the ridiculous tax they’re trying to impose.

Instead buy stock in all the AR manufacturers. Democrats do more for the gun industry than any other entity on the planet.

ARs are going to start flying off the shelves again and the prices are going to skyrocket.

Yes they would like to seize them.

This is about taxing the snot out of them to make them unaffordable, much the way the NFA implemented the $200 tax stamp. Same price now as it was in the ‘30s.

But all these hairbrained ideas do is only make more people buy guns. Sometimes, guns they would have never thought of buying.

Bought my first lower and built a .308 due to that POS looking like he would get elected.
Good practice, .223 versions followed in 2016 and were child’s play.

Fine, let’s just impose a 500% surtax on butt plugs and nipple rings. That oughta hit them where it hurts.

During campaign season, 2016, I wandered into an outdoors store in Smyrna, Ga.

Was talking to one of the guys working the gun counter and he told me that a guy had just left, hauling away a pallet of 62gr, Green Tip. I think a pallet is over 140k rounds. Guy had to use some special hydraulic trailer.

At the time, because of Clinton, prices were going through the roof. I can’t imagine what it cost but if I remember correctly is was insane...side note, a buddy of mine that had a table at a gun show, sold 5000rds of 556 for .80/round. They buyer was another vendor who sold it for $1/round, on the other side of the gun show...that’s how crazy things were.

Well, she lost. I have to wonder what he did with all of that Green Tip.

The blueprints for the AR-15, 1911 and others are available for free. This type of taxation will create a blackmarket overnight, banning will create the black market too. The black market guns will almost certainly be selectable fire.

The tax, proposed, is simply a penalty, punishment for purchasing a gun that the left has demonized.

Giving them a chance to punish legal trade is treason.

That treason should be punished, harshly and quickly!

It’s bull crap. The courts have ruled that a tax must have raising revenue as it’s principal objective. It cannot be a tax if it’s purpose is to prevent a specific commercial activity.

If the courts were honest, that would put an end to the $200 transfer tax on most "NFA" items.

I am going to petition Congress for a Bill that pays Citizens a $100,000 Bounty for ever set of ears belonging to anyone claiming to be a Democrat...Sounds reasonable to me.

Unless it's guns. If it weren't for the "because guns" exception, the NRA would have been overturned, long so.

Fundraising posturing. Help us pass this urgent common-sense gun control law. With enough money, we can pay off all the RINO whores!

Republicans need to start asking Democrats PUBLICLY just how many of their fellow Americans they plan on executing in third “final solution “ to the uppity voter problem? An do they actually think it will only be a one wYshooting range?
