DeSantis’s campaign is only as good as the product it is pushing. If the product has no appeal, it won’t matter how many salesmen you have promoting it.
He didn't have confidence from the beginning, otherwise he wouldn't have had the State Legislature change the Resign-to-Run law, so he'd still have a job to go back to, after he crashes and burns.

He may have taken steps to be able to return to Florida if he failed, but that’s just good planning on his part. While those who build billion dollar enterprises may have confidence, but not one of them didn’t have back-up planes in case it didn’t work out.
His lack of confidence is showing in his lack of authenticity.
Nobody knows, that’s the problem. Everything he does is a performance, an act, inauthentic. And disloyal

Political consultants live in the DC bubble. Because of that, they are wired into the TDS machine.
They are like the MSM writer who said she didn’t know any Nixon supports after he won 49 states. They have no idea what the public actually thinks.
It never occurred to them that going after the guy 60% of Republicans love might be a bad idea.
Support Trump and say you hope he wins. Match your policies to Trump’s policies. Populist policies. And say: I am ready to take up the standard should he fall in battle.
But they are too stupid to come up with a successful plan like that.

Trump was looking for new funny names for desantis and picked that up, but only used it a few times before going to desanctimonious
All of that is trivial compared to his one main sin. The DC Party threw the 2020 election with violence and fraud. Donald Trump was rightfully elected.
Instead of restoring Trump and making this right, DeSantis saw it as an opportunity to run himself.
That makes him a backstabber, nobody likes a backstabber. Now he even says Biden won.
Too bad. He should have come in on the revenge 2024 team and THEN lined up for 2028.
