Former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden and Green Party presidential candidate Cornell West in a hypothetical three-way race for the White House, according to a national Emerson College poll.
The poll also gauged the Republican presidential primary, finding that Trump maintains a colossal advantage with 56 percent support. Former Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R-FL) support has dropped off 11 points since June 20, when he registered at 21 percent. While he looks to stop the hemorrhaging, he finds himself tied with the surging 37-year-old entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy at ten percent. Ramaswamy is up eight points since June.

I’ve been listening to Dan Bongino’s radio show lately. Bongino supports Trump for Pres. but has also become a big supporter of Ramaswamy.
Trump is behaving like an ass. He won the first time by killing the debates. Now he is sulking and won’t play. Sad.
Cheering the Soros newly minted and fake Republican Ramaswamy I see. Helps understand your politics. And just remember your love of polls, once they don’t support your candidate of choice.

DeSantis completely misunderstood his own popularity. Among his grassroots supporters, most were also Trump supporters. Attacking Trump alienated his own base of support. Vivek jumped ahead of him when he started defending Trump.
Trump is the elephant in the room. Trump is the only one running with actual organic support.
DeSantis was a shoo-in for 2028 based on his performance as governor. Now? He has soiled himself and it’s self-inflicted.
Used to be Reagansfault, then it was reaganbush's fault, then it was bushhitler, now we have it distilled to one word, "TRUMP!".
You don't need adjectives or explanatory verbiage, simple "TRUMP!" suffices, and all understand exactly where you are coming from, and what you mean to convey.

I like Bongino and I like Ramaswamy. I will be voting for President Trump but I think Vivek Ramaswamy has a future in the Republican Party (or whatever party subsumes the feckless Republicans). His ideas and his ability to connect with traditional Americans should not go to waste.
That is the purpose of these debates, nothing more.
Everybody knows it.
Those who call Trump out on it also know this.
They are saddened, and angered, that he won't be there to receive the slings and arrows, and the daggers, lots of daggers.
