The Monday headline on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the New York Times said, unintentionally, exactly what is wrong with the GOP Establishment’s response to former President Donald Trump. The headline:
DeSantis Bluntly Acknowledges Trump’s 2020 Defeat: ‘Of Course He Lost’
The Times reports this:
Mr. DeSantis, who is polling well behind Mr. Trump for the Republican presidential nomination, had acknowledged on Friday that the former president’s false theories about a rigged 2020 election were “unsubstantiated.”
Say what? Allegations that the 2020 election were rigged are “unsubstantiated.” Really?
The governor failed to mention that journalist and Federalist editor-in-chief Mollie Hemingway, among others, has extensively documented one episode after another of election rigging in 2020.
Indeed, Mollie’s book is titled Rigged: How the Media, Big Tech, and the Democrats Seized Our Elections.
Apparently, DeSantis hasn’t read the book — and he should.
As a Pennsylvania voter well familiar with my state’s repeated and thoroughly documented record of election fraud by Democrats in the elections of 2016, 2015, 2014, 2012, 2008, and even way back there in 1994 (when a federal judge overturned a Pennsylvania state Senate election because of a “massive scheme” by Democrats to steal the election), for a Republican presidential candidate — an elected governor at that — to not be familiar with just one state’s decidedly serious and well-documented record of election rigging is astonishing.

It’s amazing how we knew the election wasn’t stolen while numbers were changing in real time on national TV networks.
TUMP LOST. What part of that do you not understand? Why he lost, what he did or didn’t do is open for discussion. At this point, IT IS OLD NEWS. He wont get the election reversed and move back in the White House. MOVE ON, for 2024 he needs to earn the nomination and election. So far seems like he and supporters want coronation.

But DeSantis loves to claim credit for “securing elections” down in Florida. Which implies they weren’t secure to begin with... so what? Does he expect us to believe the elections were insecure but Democrats were just too noble to take advantage of that fact to cheat?
And are we supposed to believe all the other states, where the governors have taken none of the steps DeSantis took, are not also insecure?

Since his supporters are more than 50% of the party, he’s going to get it.
And other people are somehow going to have to come to accept that at some point.
Like Bush or Christie? What BS. Okay, what position of DeSantis, name a few, contrast with Trump as they are likely the same, them]n tell me how he or both compare or contrast with Bush or Christie. And just one is a joke, show a few, a pattern, else stop the BS comparisons as they are lies.
Ronnie will have his chance to show his debate chops tomorrow night.
I won’t be watching, but I’m sure you will.

DeSantis had a few people arrested for voter fraud right before the elections... and the papers covered it. So word got out and people talked about it.
My guess is the reason Republicans won in Florida but the ‘red wave’ didn’t happen in other states was because DeSantis scared the people who usually do the voter fraud.

I hate to suggest it, but the debates are for the ‘backup candidate’. Whomever excels in the debates will be the likely candidate when and if the left removes President Trump from the picture. I pray not.

Unsubstantiated...as in not upheld in a court of law.
Maybe one of the upcoming Trump criminal trials will substantiate that the 2020 Presidential election was rigged, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
Some Trump voters may see Trump as an incumbent that was robbed in the election by enemies foreign and/or domestic.
Where enemies of the Republic installed their puppet..
That’s not something people move on from.
If it happens maybe one more time, elections won’t solve what ails the now banana republic..
Your mileage most certainly is closer to the Establishments..
Bravo to the establishment on stealing a Presidential election.
But stolen elections do have consequences
