Remember how all those people came out in 2015/2016 stating, “Mark my word Donald Trump will never be President!”
As a result, I hope he is angry. I hope he is vengeful. I hope he is in a mood to put heads on spikes.
I hope.
It’s not Trump’s bombast and exaggerations that keep many people from voting for him even if they might prefer his policies. . It’s the other part mentioned:
“Trump is simply mean. He humiliates people, taking pleasure in mocking them publicly.”
I have a feeling that some in his inner circle have tried to get him to stop doing this but are unsuccessful. He just seems to enjoy it too much. This may have worked when he was the CEO of his own company but it does not work in the world of politics where other people have a lot of power.
I’m sure you get the point.
I was in the construction business for a long time...I know what it’s like to be on the wrong end of this situation.
Nice going, John. You just got added to the list. FU!
Sure, John. We need to do better than Trump. Now go find him. What’s that? Oh, it’s not so easy?
People like Trump come around once in a hundred years. Trump is someone who was/is willing to provoke the ire of the deep state - a deep state that
will resort to weaponizing the justice system to silence him - and still not buckle under. A tough as nails, advocate for the common man, who
understands how the system works and is not beholden to the powers that be. And John Stoessel is focused on the fantasy of finding someone better, rather than getting behind him.
Plant the thought in the electorate that President Trump was telling the truth and that the LAAP-dog media was lying about what President Trump was saying.
If they can find it, run ads showing Al Gore in 2000 and Stacey Abrams in 2018 challenging the election results.
Run ads showing how the courts rejected appeals on technicalities that prevented the facts from being heard.
Using public domain content (or pay the royalty fees), make ads with President Trump explaining how these court rulings violated past precedent and "settled law of the land."
Using public domain content (or pay the royalty fees), make ads with President Trump explaining how Democrats were not charged with doing the same things.
But do it as a "slowly boiling frog" strategy. Don't saturate the markets all at once. Layer each incremental message with enough time for the LAAP-dog media to convulse, and then drop the next ad.
I can't believe I'm laying this out here. I used to believe that the RNC experts knew this stuff, but I've been severely disappointed cycle after cycle.

Stossel is an idiot. And a liar.
Trump is mean so we need to find someone else? Trump is sometimes mean to people who cross him - that’s true. But we’re talking words, not actions. Trump would never ignore the victims of a fire that’s killed over 100 people, and counting. Trump would never go to the beach and detachedly watch it unfold, while slow walking or impeding a federal response.
If Stoessel wants to focus on superficialities rather than substance, he’s not fit to be taken seriously.
> This [Trump’s way of handling people] may have worked when he was the CEO of his own company but it does not work in the world of politics where other people have a lot of power. <
Very good point. I must agree.
And that’s where the second point of my previous post kicks in. I am holding out hope that Trump will learn, and moderate things going forward.
“Let Trump be Trump” just won’t do. Trump will never get the leftists. It’s the folks in the middle he needs to get. The folks in the middle won’t go for a Patton-like person. They might go for a Reagan-like person.
The answer is if the believe they have just cause and are able to secure an indictment then yes, every single state even every jurisdiction could indict him and have him arrested all on the same day.
But Rapin Bill Clinton and Pedo Joe are real nice guys. The world has gone mad.
Stossel has always been a wimp.
I agree with you 100%.
John Stossel just dropped 6 points (ten point scale) in my estimation.
I have always spit in John Stossel’s general direction for his putrid and laughable attempt at journalism. Biased, anyone?
Yes...President Trump is terrible. Terrible for leftists and communists like this author and I want President Trump to be my retribution against the communist voters pretending to be democrats.
His mugshot is the stuff of Warhol: Instantly iconic Americana that will be reproduced and repurposed for decades to come.

First U.S. president to submit to a mugshot? Be careful what you wish for.

To laugh at this mugshot is to misunderstand it. Georgia has just crystallized Trump’s campaign message with a copyright-free image that will win him the nomination.
Fani Willis, Georgia’s district attorney, surely felt quite self-satisfied these past two weeks. We all saw her smug press conference announcing Trump’s indictment.
But the mugshot — wholly unnecessary, avoided in Trump’s three other indictments, meant to humiliate and degrade — has opened up a brand new revenue stream and re-energized Trump’s already fanatical base.
As has Fulton County’s explanation?

Here comes John Stossle and his annual appeal to the loons in the Libertarian 🎈 Party
Libertarians are nothing more than hedonists who don’t like paying taxes. They’re not our allies.
