China and Russia used the second day of the BRICS Summit of emerging economies to criticize the West, while also throwing their support behind the proposed expansion of what’s seen by some as an alternative power bloc.
The leaders of Brazil, India, and China are all in South Africa — which is hosting the event — while Russian President Vladimir Putin is participating virtually to avoid arrest under an International Criminal Court warrant over war crimes in Ukraine.

Since WE are the globalist, post-modern, woke/left-wing ideologues and (neo) Marxists now, think of BRICS as a 21st century variant of Kennan’s “containment” strategy.
BRICS Summit of emerging economies because they use the US dollar and now they want to drop the dollar ,LOL
It’s going to be funnier than a Bidet press conference when BRICS fizzles.
In many ways, BRICS is like the WNBA.
-Their individual players were never drafted in the big league. Because they’re not good enough.
-They decided to form their own league.
-They got a lot of press.
-A lot of the media slobbered all over them. “Watch out, big boys. Here they come!”
-Despite all this, attendance at their games is negligible and their fans are one-dimensional.
-Their most famous player was wanted for arrest in another country.
Today I attended BRICS summit..
Did you ever think we’d live long enough to see that become a reality ?
China & Ruzzia are mad because they are collapsing.
and India bought the cheapest camera they could afford to put on the Moon Lander
BRICS is a parade of losers with well-deserved inferiority complexes who are jealous of America.
Like being white and not going to Africa is punishment…
“..BRICS is a parade of losers with well-deserved inferiority complexes who are jealous of America...”
But looking at BRICs objectively, it is not as depicted above.
China has the largest military in the world. Not as good as the US, but they have stolen and been given much of our best technology. Whereas militarily, the West (NATO, et al) is weaken by support of Ukraine. Our military can’t recruit enough to fill the ranks. (thanks to the Woke revolution)
BRIC’s economy may not be flourishing, but the US and EU are also in serious economic trouble.
BRICS is keeping Russia economically viable with the purchase of Russian oil, grain and other products. Biden is keeping US economy in the basement with his reduction of US energy production.
As the total population of the BRICS countries is greater than the remainder of the world, if they quit using the US dollar for global transactions it will have a negative affect of the US economy.
There is much going on here that needs to be carefully considered and steps taken to counter any consequences.
Don’t be jealous of America.
Mr. Doodle.
Sure.
They said the same when...
- Alexander Grahm Bell invented the telephone
- the Wright brothers took off from Kitty Hawk
- Steve Jobs launched Apple Computer
- or better yet, when Steve Jobs launched the predecessor to the iPhone -- the Newton
- Bezos launched Amazon and was losing a gazillion dollars
- when IBM launched the first personal computer that sold for $1600
Get the picture?
I know it's hard for you to accept what is....and instead focus on what your crystal ball and your imagination tells you (but not me) about the future.
You might want to get the dust off that crystal ball you're using.
Russia. Russia. Russia. It is so great to see your trolling propaganda post with no hits. Maybe if you posted at DU you’d get more love.
However, America is an economic fortress. Fortresses come under assault and take hits. But America and her fortress economy stand alone.
Before the Eeyores continue, here are a few things for perspective.
America makes up 4% of the world's population...
...and yet we crank out 24% of the planet's GDP.
And while we are at the top of the Countries that Consume the Most Oil (2020 barrels per day)
United States — 17,178,000
China — 14,225,000
India — 4,669,000
Saudi Arabia — 3,544,000
Japan — 3,268,000
Russia — 3,238,000
South Korea — 2,560,000
Brazil — 2,323,000
Canada — 2,282,000
— Germany 2,045,000
...we also top the list of Countries with the Highest Oil Production (barrels per day)
United States - 11,567,000
Russia - 10,503,000
Saudi Arabia - 10,225,000
Canada - 4,656,000
Iraq - 4,260,000
China - 3,969,000
United Arab Emirates - 2,954,000
Brazil - 2,852,000
Kuwait - 2,610,000
Iran - 2,546,000
Thus, we Americans, making up only 4% of the planet's headcount, produce about a quarter of GDP - punching way above our weight. In relative contrast, BRICS is a joke.
And if THAT wasn't cool enough, America's 4% of the population is at the top of the equity market food chain:
And, of course, we win the gun race by a mile...
....but we're not losing the murder race.
As for the national debt, we have trillions in untapped oil and gas and mineral resources. IER estimated the worth of the government’s oil and gas technically recoverable resources to the economy to be about 8 times our national debt.
There are lots of problems in the US, but did you notice that even the economic doom newsletter sellers always take payment in fiat currency?
Pro-BRICS/De-dollarization is a fantasy of the Harvard faculty, anti-Americans, and fearporn salesmen. Usually, they are cut from the same cloth.
A new contestant has emerged, which is A Person Who Is Worried About America. Fair enough. But America's eulogy has been written many times before. And we will emerge victorious this time as well.
But situational awareness requires being in the lookout for the anti-American salesman-type using FR as a conservative beard.
Who is the bald Pygmy on the right?
—> Pro-BRICS/De-dollarization is a fantasy
Yet the brics are expanding and the usd accounts for a shrinking share of global trade transactions.
Doesn’t mean the dollar will disappear or cease to be used.
Why so many shithole countries in South America?
