My arguments against the unjust death penalty are found here (under “Jim W N”).

Jim, I read all your arguments you made in that thread.
And I read all the reasonable counter arguments against you.
Bottom line: We are right. You are wrong.
“Ok got it, you are liberal on capital punishment.”
Hardly.

I’ve read your arguments and they all fail.
The death penalty is clearly indicated here. It’s supported both Biblically and Constitutionally. This “person” with malice afore thought unlawfully took the life of an innocent person.
There’s zero doubt as to his guilt. Permanently removing him from society is the right thing to do. You may not like it and I respect that.
But your arguments fail both morally and legally.

“Bottom line: We are right. You are wrong.”
That is not an argument.
This is a debate forum that requires adult-level rationale and reasonable support for refuting an argument.
Premise, rational argument, rational conclusion.
Your conclusion is no argument.
Well, he here about it frequently. For example, Dr. Kevorkian, who the media told us humanely offed people.
If DJ applies, that means the crimes should not be prosecuted at all, it has nothing to do with the eventual punishment.
There are no arguments against it.
God is for the death penalty. He is not for its misuse, of course.
Your conclusion is no argument.

Well sport, guess what? We’re not ARGUING with you. We’ve explained our position - you gave your opinion.
We all disagree with you. How is that fact an argument?
But you just keep posting the same link as often as you like. It changes nothing.
. Even though this is a conservative site, you are allowed to recognize nuances on the issues of the day, and have differing viewpoint based on different criteria.
Your arguments are fine. They have led you to different opinions and conclusions than most Freepers. But that’s ok, have your opinion.
If you want your opinion considered, make the arguments here. You’re not important enough to go hunting for your opinions.
Your assertions with respect to Jesus’ death are not a Biblical statement that the death penalty is abolished. Read Romans 13:4.
That’s a good one. Wish I had thought of it.
That’s caused by the rapidly changing pressure differential not by a specific characteristic of Nitrogen. Any soluble gas that is inert and not metabolized (Oxygen is metabolized) would build up in the blood and bubble similarly.
I’ve had to take three old dogs in to the vet for the final visit. The process, though grievous, is smooth and painless.
It’s not like they will suck all the air out of the room and then turn on the gas. They’ll strap his ass in the chair, then seal the room and slowly start piping in the nitrogen. He shouldn’t feel a thing.
What is your understanding of the Sixth Commandment?
I wonder if carbon dioxide would be just as effective as nitrogen. It would have the benefit of carbon sequestration, right?
Because vets are doctors. The guys doing the injection at the pen are not. Doctors/nurses refuse to participate in executions.
So whether or not they find a vein and actually manage to inject into one is a gamble at best.
