ROME — Pope Francis has doubled down in his personal war on fossil fuels while condemning “extreme practices” such as fracking.
It is time world leaders to “listen to science and institute a rapid and equitable transition to end the era of fossil fuel,” the pontiff urges in his message for the Feast of Creation, to be celebrated on September 1.
It is “absurd to permit the continued exploration and expansion of fossil fuel infrastructures,” he insists. “Let us raise our voices to halt this injustice towards the poor and towards our children, who will bear the worst effects of climate change.”

This must be the new talking point among the leftist/woke churches. Well, I’m not part of the Catholic Church, on paper, I’m still a member of the united church of Christ congregation. Remember, Barack Obama’s church? Same denomination.
Just last week, they started a sermon series on global warming.
The end of “fossil” fuels is the end of food.
50% of the world’s fertilizer is made with “fossil” fuels.
The tractors and other farm equipment used to grow and transport food depend almost 100% on “fossil” fuels.
But Frankie and his fellow mass-murderers know this.
They just want us dead.
Okay Frankie. You stop pumpin’ out all the commie flatulence and we’ll work on ending the Era of Fossil Fuel if you show us your degree in climatology.
This is antithetical to the Gospel, as it makes it more difficult to help the truly needy in the third world.
He’s NOT infallible. That’s the biggest error most make, thinking ANYTHING a Pope says is infallible. It’s simply NOT the case!
Only in matters of scripture is he suppose to be seen as infallible, (and I believe only when he pronounces it), NOT everyday lay people/world issues!

I agree, not a single product produced or transported with the use of fossil fuels as well as all fossil fuels themselves should be prohibited in Vatican City immediately.

Better yet- sell everything in the Vatican off and donate it to some non fossil fuel research institution. Of course this @sshole would do it.
Literally, up until two years ago i was a practicing Catholic would would not think of missing mass. I now barely go to mass because of this clown. And before the haters chime in- i still pray every day.
