A Queens lawmaker has introduced legislation to spread the burden of dealing with the migrant crisis across New York State, as the Big Apple continues to struggle to handle the influx of asylum seekers.

In one of the bills put forward by Assemblywoman Jenifer Rajkumar in Albany Thursday, local governments would be barred from blocking asylum seekers from being housed in their counties through emergency orders.

Oh yes, people in Watertown or Ogdensburg or Central Leatherstocking and elsewhere in that state who overwhelmingly did not vote for foreign invaders are being asked to help the upper class twits in NYC.

--- "NY lawmaker wants to bar counties from blocking migrants to ease burden on NYC"

Translation DEMOCRAT NYC lawmaker wants to push a Democrat-made problem onto other to "ease burden on NYC."

This is the stance of ever more failing Democrat policies, which say basically "I broke it; you pay for the repairs -- in perpetuity."

It is a guarantee that this DEMOCRAT NYC female lawmaker will expect her own sinecure to be paid in perpetuity, because....

IF they didn’t declare sanctuary status then NO! two things liberals have a problem with. one is math because there’s no mathematical way that an X chromosome and a Y chromosome can equal 57 varieties and the other is the concept of extrapolation. with all available information it isn’t difficult to reason out the logical conclusion to either an open border policy or a sanctuary city policy. it isn’t rocket science people.

Vote for Trump and solve the problem at its source.

Too late, GOP towns are on to this: Glenville lawmakers have set in motion new regulations in response to worries over migrants and indigent guests lodging in town on a long-term basis.

Any stay over 28 days in a 60-day-period now violates the town’s freshly-defined motel and hotel zoning requirements. The policy change was passed Wednesday. https://dailygazette.com/2023/09/07/glenville-enacts-new-rules-moratorium-on-motels-hotels/

It was the big cities in New York that declared themselves “Sanctuary Cities” in defiance of federal law. The rural counties DID NOT VOTE FOR THIS!!

What more evidence can there be that states need electoral colleges, too.

The big cities utterly swamp the votes from the rural areas. Why bother even voting, if your vote is not weighted against the teeming population centers that vote democrat by vast majorities.

I don’t have a problem with this.

Why should New York get all the pain?

Spread it to Ithaca, Buffalo, Syracuse and all the other Demo hellholes and college towns in upstate New York.

I’m sooo certain there are college professors at Cornell who’d be more than happy to take some of these people in.

Best bet is to ship all illegal aliens to the National Mall in Wash DC. That way Congress, White House, and USSC can share in the joy of nurturing them into US citizens.

When the Mall fills up, send them to the nearby towns where the Deep State families live, so they can share as well.

And as economist Milton Freidman warned them in the 60’s, a welfare state can’t afford open borders.

Embrace the suck. Deal with it.

You're asking conservative New Yorkers to "embrace the suck". The vast majority of New York state counties have a republican majority. The dense democrat NYC population skews NY representation in NY state government. The counties that NY democrat lawmakers want to force receiving illegal aliens are conservative/republican.

The democrat strategy nationwide is to flood red counties and districts with illegal aliens and then legalize their right to vote. Here's the red vs blue makeup of New York state:

Should the nation embrace the suck for electing BiteMe...?

Since Upstate is mostly MAGA red, and because NYS cost shares Medicaid with counties, this will likely bankrupt a lot of the Trump supporting parts of NY.

And that will be deliberate.

And if NYS gets a bailout, guess who’ll be paying for that.

All of the embrace the suck crowd.
