(Reuters) - Early research data has shown that antibodies produced by prior infection or existing vaccines against the coronavirus were sufficient to protect against the new BA.2.86 variant, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said on Friday.
The Food and Drug Administration in the coming days is expected to authorize the updated vaccines that target the XBB.1.5 subvariant of Omicron, and early data provide encouraging signs for the new shots, CDC said.The public health agency added that the new BA.2.86 lineage of coronavirus was not driving the current increases in COVID cases and hospitalizations in the United States, but rather attributed it to other predominantly circulating viruses.

The shots are trash. You’re going to get the “virus” anyway. Don’t take the shots as they may give you adverse effects.

The CDC must not have got the message from the White House. They’re supposed to scare the people so the people will demand mail-in ballots.

Probably not, but it’s a new ADMISSION from them.
I did receive the first two Pfizer shots. I am a clinical pharmacist now retired. Pfizer, I believed once and had no hesitation about taking the shot. I was in my seventies and thus in the high risk group. Pfizer and the FDA did not lie about the data of adverse reactions. They hid the data about adverse reactions. To give that shot to the young and healthy was in my opinion a criminal action of neglect. They were at minimal risk as the data shows and became more at risk from the shot due to antibody enhanced infection. To give the shot to the old and infirm is still out to debate. I do not know. The FDA and the CDC know but will not tell us. They have the data but we do not.
Today I trust Moderna and Pfizer not. They should be sued into oblivion and become bankrupt. Their great work of many years will continue as investors pick up a once great company at bargain basement prices.

I forgot to add. I had the jabs, they are not vaccines, but the FDA redefined what a vaccine is and they now call the covid jab a vaccine. It is not. I had covid twice and very mild after the jab they call a vaccine. I REFUSE ANY MORE JABS BASED ON MY CLINICAL KNOWLEDGE!

You’d think that TPTB would’ve been suspicious when Pfizer didn’t want the data released for 75 years. They didn’t blink an eye. It took legal action to release the data, at which time analysts from War Room and Naomi Wolf’s group got the word out.
I despise big pharma now.
They probably ward off comet landings and the proof is there have been none.

You are lucky. Two friends of mine took the “vaccines” and boosters. Results were that both have had Covid 3 times, one got Shingles, the other got Bells Palsy and two retina detachments within 5 months. Both are suffering from various other ailments that neither had before.
