Iranian president: Funds unfrozen by US would be spent ‘wherever we need it’

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said the $6 billion in funds the U.S. agreed to unfreeze in exchange for five U.S. prisoners will be spent “wherever we need it,” despite the Biden administration saying the funds are restricted to humanitarian use.
When asked in an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt about the funds, Raisi said Iran would have “authority” over how the funds will be spent.
“This money belongs to the Iranian people, the Iranian government, so the Islamic Republic of Iran will decide what to do with this money,” he said, according to an Iranian government translator.

One wonders why the democrats are so passionate about giving money to countries that have declared their hatred for us. I remember, even if the media wants me to forget, that obammy, the first gay muslim president, delivered CASH to iran. Our cash.
Actually, I stopped wondering a long time ago when I saw the obvious, that the democrat party has taken the side of regimes that hate and want to destroy us, and that they are doing it out of ideology and for the kickbacks.

And just who are these “prisoners” and why are they imprisoned? or are they?? How long have they been “prisoners?” Are they dual citizens, native to Iran and naturalized in the US??? Were they locked up (if they are locked up) as part of a scheme to trade them for one billion$$$.

The amount floating around when Obama sent that load of cash to Iran was 5% service fee. So, 5% of $6 billion would be $300 million.
