On Sunday, Connecticut’s new gun control limiting the number of handguns a law-abiding citizen can purchase each month went into effect.
NPR reported that State Senate President Pro Tempore Martin Looney (D) praised the new restriction but is not satisfied with it. He “wants to pursue further limits on monthly gun purchases.”
Looney also wants to secure a microstamping requirement in Connecticut.

Can someone please vote this Looney toon out?!
The Demoncrats are well into their plans to destroy the Middle Class ,,, next come arms confiscation ... then goodbye Republic and hello totalitarian government
Bad guys? No limit!
The people of CT disagree with you. This is what they want. These politicians do not hide their goals. Quite the contrary. I am fine with State elected officials making good on their campaign promises to stifle gun ownership. It just means I will never visit/live in that State. This is why the American experiment is such genius. We basically have 50 different small countries that are constantly experimenting. We can see what works and what does not. And we all have 50 places to choose from.
Now CT do the same for liquor and toilet paper.
Federal courts
Glad arms manufacturers left Connecticut.
Meanwhile in the hood in Hartford, Waterbury, Bridgeport etal you can buy as many guns as you want...
So incredibly lbnocious, antiSmerican, and unconstitutional it stinks to high heaven almost as badly as Californication Governor Newsom and Chicago’s insane gun laws. Filth who vote for rotten krap like this should be removed from the public payroll for violating their oaths of office
Violent criminals know no such limit.
that would be infringing...
Illogical. It only takes one weapon to commit a crime. Just like it only takes one spoon to get fat. As for micro stamping, these jerks have no clue how a firearm works. No one from The Stupid Party has the brains or the guts to discuss the folly with these morons.
Shall not be infringed!
But with waiting periods, and such, you will have trouble purchasing 10 per year.
The federal courts enforce SCOTUS rulings.
bttt
“What the need is for the SCOTUS to rule that they have acted in bad faith wrt 2nd amendment rights passing laws they knew to be unconstitutional. As such, they should be required to get pre-clearance from the federal courts in order to enact any gun legislation at all.”
THIS.
Martin Looney has just the right name for what he is doing.
