Reagan was a old school politician. He could be friendly with all sort of people that he did not necessarily agree with politically.
Politics back then was not the rabid hate fest the Clintons and the Alt Left have turned it into since 1992
In a perfect world, providing healthcare for the public would be a good thing, however, it’s not a perfect world, it’s an evil corrupt world where people in power end up corrupt and controlling people and would use healthcare to permanently enslave people.
Just look at Covid and how that healthcare situation was handled, who in their right mind would turn over 100% of their healthcare to the same people who ran our Covid response.
