"[Michael] Andretti can make a case that keeping him out of F1 is indeed personal: Three different people with direct knowledge of the conversations confirmed to AP that F1 asked General Motors if it would partner with someone other than Andretti," wrote Jenna Fryer in her latest AP column.

Tortious interference is a common law tort allowing a claim for damages against a defendant who wrongfully interferes with the plaintiff's contractual or business relationships.
Please post to your list, thanks.
That sounds vaguely illegal..................
Nothing is illegal any more in today’s politicized courts. All decision are political. There is no rule of law. Defined rules are so 1700’s. We lived in an enlightened world today.

Michael Andretti has an axe to grind with F1- they wanted to keep him out
I’m already turned off by the Eurocrap shenanigans in F1 and this isn’t going to help. I already miss races here and there and care nothing about it
And once the championship was won why waste my time with snoozer racing for nothing
If I am not mistaken Liberty Media now owns F1 and they are a US company. F1 screwed over Michael Andretti when he switched to F1 racing. They shut down testing before races which benefited European teams with track experience and hurt Andretti. Why wouldn’t turnabout now be fair play? Let the US teams test...Haas and Andretti. The other teams get no testing. Give them the big FU. Tell them to spend the US test session time to get more gay and trans experience.
Andretti should tell those Euros to F off.
kELCE was asked by his brother today to explain his new sports investment in Alpine. Pretty clear he didn’t have much of a clue. I think Ryan Reynolds got a hold of him and Mahomes and said let’s make some money.
Too bad that Liberty Media is an US company which wholly-owned subsidiary is Formula One Group consists of our wholly-owned subsidiary Formula 1®.
So it appears the US Courts would be the place to file.

And what is the particular axe about ?

I don’t remember Haas having this much hassle getting into F1.
The way he was treated the half season he raced under Ron Dennis.
His son Marco talked about it a few years ago. Suspicion was Dennis brought him to F1 to purposely fail to prove F1 drivers were better than Indy car drivers at a time when Indy car ruled the world. Sounds crazy but also sounds like something Ron Dennis would do.
yeah, but this is personal...
I don't know about that...
Indy car:
The series saw its best viewership this year since 2011, with an average of 1.32 million viewers for its 17 races when including digital streaming from Peacock, up 2% from last year. Half of the races in 2023 drew more than 1 million viewers, the same as the 2022 season, which is tied with 2008 for the series’ highest mark.
