This is undeniably true, and should be a conservative mantra.
But because of its very prima facie veracity, it won't be.
Common Sense Gun Reform should be centered on protecting our public servants.
All persons granted a privilege to keep and bear arms, shall be prohibited from using that privilege in the defense of others for compensation or gain.
NO HIRED GUNS, Especially around Elected Officials.
They should outlaw shovels first. If no graves are dug no one will die anymore.

I have to agree with the Rats on this one, there absolutely is a gun “GUN EMERGENCY” in America!
There AREN’T ENOUGH GUNS IN THE HANDS OF LAW ABIDING CITIZENS!
We need to pass a law that says “it is illegal for any American Household to have any less than 10 operable firearms and a minimum of 1000 rounds per firearm”.
Because it will be a Federal Law, the Government shall be responsible to provide those households with budgetary constraints those necessary weapons and appropriate ammunition!
