Another drunk billionaire like Jerry jones
Playing the victim card.
Gosh, how many are there now?
Race, gender, financial status, weight (too fat or too skinny), and this list just keeps growing...
Robert Irsay was the owner who moved the team from Baltimore to Indianapolis (after botching a potential move to Phoenix) in the middle of the night. Bob Irsay managed to severely damage one of the most storied franchises in pro football before sneaking out of town.
Jimmy Irsay inherited the team from his father.
Back in the 90's I attended a bon fire party with one of my best friends whose wife stayed home.
We stopped for breakfast in the early hours of the morning and on his way home, he was pulled over a block from his house and arrested for DUI.
At about 6:30 in the morning, I got a call from his extremely pissed off wife telling me to go to the jail and bail his ass out. Cost me $50
As far as I can remember, he never paid me back. And to think that he was a white billionaire......LOL!
I thought his name was Robert but was reading something and they mentioned a name of JIM.
But whatever, it was one of the sneakiest things ever done in professional sports. My father and I were heartbroken the day after, as were alot of Baltimorians.
So let the grandson think it’s because he’s a billionaire..... Really he springs from a line of assholes.
The Irsay family fortune was greatly enlarged due to football profits.
Originally, Irsay purchased the Los Angeles Rams for $19 million dollars in 1972, but he quickly traded that team for the Baltimore Colts.
