Except for it being a little cooler here, our day sounds like it was similar. They SAY we’ll have 60s the next three days, then back into the 50s next week. I can live with that.

Tomorrow night will be real windy with the rain that will come through. No storms. Just strong wind.

I dunno about having more energy today due to the weather. I used most of it up last night when I had no internet for a few hours. Got mad and ended up doing housework to burn off steam. LOL

It was cloudy here for a while, too, and I couldn’t see the moon waxing. The cats clued me in with their behavior that it was close to full and I checked the calendar. Then the clouds broke up enough that night that it could brighten the landscape. It wasn’t supermoon bright but close.

Well, one way or another that ol’ housework gets taken care of, right? Does Comcast seem to behaving itself tonight? If not, you’ll have the cleanest house in the county. LOL!

I kind of lost track of everything this past week. It’s almost like that wonderful trip never happened. I think I need a do-over! :) In fact, my DIL said that the other day on a text. I totally agreed. Just have to plan on when.

It’s quite cold now — possible flurries, but warming up later. Won’t know till next week whether we have a white Hanukkah.

No, it isn’t behaving tonight. It’s going out periodically again and it’s a bit sluggish when connection is there. Very frustrating.

Yeah, a do-over would be nice. Your Thanksgiving trip was pretty much ruined by you being sick. I hope you can get back down there fairly soon and have a good visit with the kids. You don’t get to see them very often.

We had been looking forward to this trip for months. Hubby was sick, too....I just took it worse. LOL! I know we both had fever but believe it or not, my son didn’t have a thermometer we could use. Well, thankfully everyone is better now and the girls never got sick.

Dang! I was hoping it had straightened out now. That wind you told me was coming isn’t going to help matters. But it HAD better bring some rain!

A very pleasant good Thursday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

Well, they did find the leak but it was and underground, so they're going to build a new gas line and get a new gas meter for our house. It'll take a couple of days because they have to get approval for it. There a outfit called OKIE 811 that send people to make underground lines so excavators don't accidently hit one so it'll be at least Monday before they can get to it.

So I went to Walmart and got this temporary space heater. I carry it with me around the house to keep me warm:

And I might add, I'm not the only who who has had this happen to me. A number of people around our area have had this happen to. Those gas lines seem to be getting old and worn out for some reason.

Yesterday at Wichita Ridge:

How's everyone doing this morning?

I know you’d been looking forward to it and I felt so bad when you said you were sick. Ruined everything. At least you’re better now and it IS good the girls didn’t get sick.

I was hoping that whatever they did last night would take care of the problems but apparently not. This happens once in a while and they eventually straighten it out.

The wind shouldn’t be too much of a problem tomorrow night. Wind gusts around 35 mph are what they predict. Not enough to knock stuff down. Folks with Christmas decorations up outside might have a problem, and I don’t put any outside. It’ll be fine here. I do hope for some decent rainfall. We’re still in extreme drought here.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

It looks like Gizmo had a fabulous time at Wichita Ridge yesterday. LOTSA rollin’ around. LOL

Dang the luck, having to wait until Monday to get the gas line taken care of. Maybe something will happen and they’ll be able to get to you sooner.

Yes, gas lines do wear out after a while. Ours did a couple of years ago. Just one of those “dammit” things that crop up.

Does it seem to you that people have started putting their Christmas decorations out extremely early this year, or is my sense of time just whacked? It just seemed that Halloween happened and then *poof* bright lights everywhere. LOL I’m totally not ready for it.

Oh dear, E...I was hoping they could diagnose and fix the problem right away. But it’s good that you will be getting a NEW gas line, and they caught it before the old one can do any damage to your health.

Good idea about a space heater that you can carry around to where needed.

Gizmo looks like he had a grand time at Wichita Ridge...lots and lots of good places to roll around.

You guys stay warm, and have a great Thursday. ((HUGS))

You’re not whacked. LOL A lot of people started putting their decorations out right after Halloween was over.
