The danger is acute for Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley, and it will extend far beyond 2024. As the former South Carolina governor welcomes support wherever she can find it while seeking to be anointed as the one choice anti-Donald Trump forces can coalesce around in the primary process, Haley’s campaign faces the disastrous perception of being just another progressive establishment ruse, at least in the eyes of the grassroots GOP voters who will decide her fate.
Base Republicans strongly believe Americans have been subjected to one con after another from out-of-touch elites in recent years. With that in mind, one can’t imagine a worse look for a GOP candidate than accepting a quarter-million-dollar donation from a billionaire leftist who has specialized in funding nuisance campaigns and false-flag operations.
‘Fighting the Threat of Trumpism’
LinkedIn founder and major Democrat donor Reid Hoffman has given $250,000 to a SuperPAC backing Haley. “While we are fighting to defend the idea of America from the threat of Trumpism, we need to engage with people with whom we disagree about many areas of policy and culture. Nikki Haley would not be as good for America as Joe Biden, but America would survive her administration,” Hoffman wrote in a Dec. 6 LinkedIn post.
“I have invested in the Stand for America PAC supporting Nikki Haley because I agree with Jamie Dimon’s recent comments that Democrats should support Haley in the primary and Biden in the general election,” Hoffman added.
Dimon is CEO of multinational financial services powerhouse JPMorgan Chase. “If you’re a very liberal Democrat, I urge you to help Nikki Haley, too. Give them a choice on the Republican side that might be better than Trump,” he declared at The New York Times’ 2023 DealBook Summit on Nov. 29.

If the Dems succeed in ruining Trump’s chances, I would never vote for Nikki Haley. Since I can’t vote for a Democrat ever, I would either not vote, or vote the Libertarian presidential candidate just so my down-ballot votes would be counted.
Neither will I, Romney was the last time I play that game.
Nikki is on her own.

See, that’s exactly why conservatives keep losing ground election after election and generation after generation—people cutting off their own noses to spite their faces! Yeah, I don’t want Nikki either, but she’d be a whole lot better than Biden, Clinton, Big Mike, California Gavin, etc., or at least we could stop super blatant socialist laws from passing by veto (one would hope) and keep super liberal SCOTUS packing from happening. Judges, ATF, EPA, FBI, DOJ, DOD, and multiple other appointments need us to reign them in and return sanity to government. So, please please please vote for whoever is NOT the democrat or independent presidential candidate.

I have tried to explain this to my “moderate” Republican friends.
Democrats do this all the time. They stealthily support a Republican that will not excite the base in the primary. Their willing accomplices in the press hype him/her up, making them seem much more conservative than they really are. They win the nomination (see Dole, Bush, Romney, McCain...) and the same “moderate” Democrats who had been giving them money will turn on them with a vengeance...calling them Nazis, right wing extremists, etc., etc. The candidate swings to the middle, the conservatives abandon them, they lose the general election. Lather, rinse, repeat.
A centrist Republican cannot win. Bush the Younger was an exception, I believe, because of his dad’s deep state ties.

I'm afraid that since all the legal "authorities" let the kenyan/indonesian of UNKNOWN parentage infest the office, that the Natural Born provision of The Constitution is effectively moot.
