If you're a taxpaying American citizen, the stream of illegal aliens entering the country are living at your expense.
A new study indicates more than half of households headed by a non-citizen are receiving welfare benefits.
The Center for Immigration Studies analyzed the 2022 Census Bureau's Survey of Income and Program Participation to find the data.
"Analysis of this data shows both immigrants and the U.S.-born make extensive use of means-tested anti-poverty programs, with immigrant households significantly more likely to receive benefits," the study, authored by Steven A. Camarota and Karen Zeigler, concluded.

They are doing the “jobs” American citizens don’t do. Like spending money on drugs, movies, video games, booze-——too broke to afford them while working all week and coping with taxes and inflation.

I would expect it to be a given.
The government has made no secret that it is doing so.
I thought one of the conditions of immigrating to the USA was that you would not be dependent on the state or federal government for support, but rather, they themselves were to make sure that they would not be a burden on the tax paying USA citizens, both natural and naturalized.
Am I missing something here?

When my Wife got her green card, I had to sign an agreement with the government that my Wife would not be a Public Charge for 10 years or they took my money and assets to pay for it.
You can “study” that by going to Walmart and counting all the non-English speakers with EBT cards.
Well isn’t this a surprise! The government is helping them qualify and apply for these benefits. WHY WOULD THEY EVER WORK? The benefits never end. They will have ample time to reproduce, as is their mission, and to be fruitful and multiply and replace the stupid suckers who let this happen.
Think of that as you go to work tomorrow. Look at your next pay stub, and subtract the net from the gross, and that is your contribution to your replacement party.
Don’t know about Green Card holders but we can be damn sure that 98% of wetbacks are on every welfare program there is. And the other 2% are managing to make a living dealing drugs and shoplifting without welfare.
When my grandpa came from Denmark in 1899 that was how it worked. He had to have someone here to guarantee he would not become dependent on government support.
The things you are missing is back then the government actually followed its own rules. And that most immigrants came from Europe with a culture somewhat similar to our own. Teddy Kennedy changed the rules for the latter. Yet another gift from the ‘Lion of the Senate’.
