I see two people go down at the same time. Also see two moving after they are down. My first thought without doing the math is that it was unsuppressed and both heard the sound and dropped. Had it been one getting hit, the other would have delayed in his reaction just enough to be noticeable. Also can’t see any huge misting effects but the video is very blurry. I wouldn’t call it a ‘kill’.....but rather a hit.
It is unlikely that the sound arrived before the bullet as sound travels about 300-400 meters per second. So since it looks like the two targets are moving after the bullet arrives I would be inclined to think that if the bullet did not hit either of them then whatever it did hit alerted the targets who then took cover. If the bullet actually hit either of them but was not a fatal hit, bleeding out very soon is most likely as a bullet that size will make a very large hole in the body, maybe two (entry & exit).
Article says the travel was about nine seconds. The sound would have arrived a bit over two seconds later at that distance (2.4 miles).
Yeah, looked like a near miss and they went for cover. Might have been some spall from a hit off the structure to the right.
Long range harassment fire.
Yep, the reaction is exactly as you described it should be, except you werenâÂÂt looking at the target. So, there are 3 guys in the highlighted part of the video, the guy furthest to the right gets hit and the two guys to the left duck down once the bullet splashes in the targetâÂÂs chest, almost looked like a spray or mist. Definitely a hit.
I just donâÂÂt understand why you folks are so incline to discredit and disapprove of anything related to Ukraine. Sure, there is a lot of what many of us would consider âÂÂwasteâÂÂ, but what percent of that is relative to say, US government waste, because I would probably say 93% of US government and spending is a complete waste. At least for Ukrainians they get something very much needed and valued, and for the most part, put it to extremely good use. And as far as the bulk of real military aid, you would really have to be a fool to think the majority of that is a waste. The himar rockets, patriot missiles, artillery shell charges and powder, and etc⦠bedsides that fact that it is protecting Ukrainian citizens, all that has a shelf life, the US tax payer has to pay to dispose of all that stuff and then pay to replace it, so the himar rockets from the 90s and all the like that Ukraine gets, are not missed at all. Ukraine doesnâÂÂt get anything new, just old nearly expired stock, that is why a lot of it is sourced from other allied nations. There are a hundred other really wasteful spending that not only has a net loss to the tax payer but also a more pressing negative impact in American society.
